For me, bad storytelling will kill a game. I did my best to give Other M a chance. I really wanted to like it, I really did. The story is a pretty huge part of Metroid, as you've always had to piece it together from the little monolog Samus would give, or in Metroid Prime's case, they jam packed the logs full of stuff

yep, a magical space wizard did this. totally sound logic right there

No, Other M is garbage. They shit all over Samus's character, turn her into a submissive woman, when she very much has shown her independence, the gameplay was mediocre at best( the first person segments were horrid) and very much felt like it was on rail. Its the worst rated, worst selling Metroid console title( with

"oh no! A BLOGmade an article that doesn't follow their primary idea? THIS IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS AND THEY MUST KNOW MY OUTRAGE BECAUSE THEY CAN'T WRITE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT TECHNOLOGY 24/7!"

Most people say that when Retro was allowed to touch Metroid, it churned out one of the best trilogies in video games. It kept to the spirit of Metroid, but at a new angle, and it was an incredible, immersive experience. Team Ninja really fucked up with the story of the game, but I kind of liked where they were going

Well, guess I'm a moron. I play games with story first, then multiplayer. Kids now have forgotten what old games had to have in order to survive. Now its just mindless shoot em ups, because people are too impatient/stupid to enjoy a well put together story.

I wanted to play it for both. There are still people in the world who want their games to have good campaign, and give companies money based on the game's story first.

I usually run guest departments at several midwest anime conventions, and one year I had to work with Vic. That was the most difficult weekend of my life, let me tell you.

Yes, because Obama sat down and said "I need to make sure to send home most of the people who oversee the nuclear power plants, in my ever expanding plot to destroy America".

Because its anime? Its like questioning physics in video games, just accept it. There's actually a fantastic underlying moral message in the series, which basically tells viewers to believe in themselves and the power of the loved ones around them, and that you can overcome any obstacle that gets put in front of you.

The gamepad is a real controller. I bought the Windwaker edition console, and to my utter surprise, the system has been one of the best investments I've made into gaming in years. The controller being able to play games on it rather than on the screen allows me to sit way more comfortably playing games, and the

On my screen, to the left side in the 'Top Stories' section, only one story has nothing to do with gaming, and its this one. Or are you referencing a time delay in their getting information out to us, comparing to other outlets?

I don't care what they do, as long as they stop asking me to change my username to my real name. Fuck that noise.

2/10. Poor troll is poor.

Your shitty generalizations of an entire political group doesn't really help anyone, including your own arguments( if you use that kind of wording in arguments).

I don't think being first in a shitty game that's ripped off other games in the genera is anything to really be proud of.

Hey look, iPhones at the price they're actually worth! About time Apple, shame your hardware still sucks

So much cynicism going on here.. bundles are things that companies do to sell consoles and games. How many different bundles has the PS3 had, for example? Then again everyone loves to hate on Nintendo.

Budget cuts man. Congress only gives NASA so much funding; they have to cut corners where they can.
