"Those flashes, each one has the energy of a lightning bolt in it; that's not the experiment, that's just what leaks out when you're doing the experiment."

Its the first console from someone other than the big 3 in YEARS. You know what the last one was? Dreamcast. That alone is a big enough reason for people to be excited. It holds a lot of potential, and if you have more interest in gaming outside Call of Duty, then this should attract your attention.

I agree 100%. This coverage has been fantastic, and being the space nut I am, these photos have made me blissfully happy.

Skip has it right. Its not a money pit like people want to yell it is. The pursuit of knowledge isn't cheap, and to those people(Not saying you're in that group..) who are happy enough to work their 40 hour weeks and sit at home watching their mediocre sitcoms, then good on them. But there are a lot more people(like

You do realize that the rover JUST landed, right? They're slowly powering up all the systems and then traveling to its destination.

I'm not going to bother going through all the squabbling to see if its been asked, so I'll ask it.

I see where you're coming from there, but at the same time, I still feel uncomfortable calling it a sport. I mean, that's just me, but I don't feel the same thrill watching xXxmLgPrOsnIpEz420xXx shooting a guy in a game, or clicking on capture points, or whatever, as I would watching, say, football and seeing the ball

Uh, no it isn't dead at all, actually. Just because the tourney kids are all mad that they aren't the sole target group for a video game doesn't mean that its dead. I liked Brawl over Melee for a number of reasons, one of the big ones was that its /FUN/. I go to a lot of conventions, and in the Video Gaming room,

"LoL players just don't seem to take their game seriously and come off more as jokers than actual professional athletes"

I wanna go off on a little tangent here..I really disapprove of Video Gaming as a sport... But before you ask, I still can't find a really solid answer as to why, I just really dislike the idea. I think its simply because the people who follow said communities seem to be pretty trashy jerks, and tend to ruin the game

You aren't telling us what the hell it could be spent on. Please, tell us what the world would gain from taking NASA's measly budget(for fucks sake, LOOK HOW MUCH WE SPEND ON THE MILITARY), and PLEASE inform us of just HOW their budget could be spent on bettering lives(which they already do by bringing us the tech we

I didn't have a single problem with it.

You're sounding like you have something seriously against the console coming out.

I ain't even going to start with how wrong both of these posts are.

If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it.

I don't care about Battlefield 4. I just want Battlefield Bad Company 3! When do we get to hear about that, hmm?

You asked for it man. Here's proof against that entire crappy video.

The only part that could potentially qualify is my ending statement..but eh. I seem to be one of the few who actually like the ending, because I can see a deeper meaning to it, where everyone else is angry that their choices 'didn't matter'.
