An expansion on that discussion would be fantastic in the ending dlc. I did decline to mention about how the ending discussion with the catalyst was a bit short and uniforming, but I can agree there. What I feel a lot of people are mad about, and I understand, is a lack of information, and a feeling the ending was

I'm sorry. I did forget to include the Renegade options where you could be the most bad-ass asshole the galaxy had ever known. Surviving only goes to show how hardcore she was.

How so? It would be nice to hear why, rather than feel like I'm being verbally slammed by Lex Luthor.

I think it'll be alright. Sakurai still has final say, so he'll make sure that it stays true to the smash system we know. I'd be more worried if he actually wasn't on the team.

Its really exciting to see it. There are a lot of amazing people on this project from the get-go, and I think we'll see an amazing game come from the culmination of these people.

..It was a challenge to make a game in 7 days though. For what it is, in the time span that they were given, its pretty incredible. Look at the achievement, and what can actually be accomplished in that short of time. Maybe then you'll see why a lot of people are excited and like it.

Exactly that Velhart. Old games, before the DLC age, you were stuck with the ending you got. DLC is letting people change the game post-production, so we get an entirely different game than what we originally paid for, that we still get dinged to pay constantly, so we end up paying a ton of money for a game that

Indoctrination theory is BULLSHIT. There's so much counter proof against it, that its not even viable, its just angry kids clinging onto an idea because they couldn't comprehend the ending.

My god.. So much butthurt in the comments, its almost too painful to go through. Like, seriously, there are so many angry people here, you'd think a national scandal of taxpayer money was exposed or something. But no. Its just a bunch of kids who are mad that they didn't get a stupid fairy tale ending.

And why do you think it sucks? Is it because its too different from the traditional FPS?

Except they don't, because it didn't happen. ;)

You sir, have discovered the true meaning behind this mystery. No hidden phallic object is safe.

The incentive is to play the game. I didn't play Halo to feel good about reaching a rank, or feel like Reach was ruined because there wasn't an "incentive". Reach was vastly better /because/ there wasn't a ranking system to exploit.

Its better than the 1-50, which people get so obsessed over, that they destroy the ranking system to get multiple 50s.

They need that light, yeah. Reducing the light coming through the atmosphere would be pretty detrimental to plant growth. But then again, we're thinking of short term ideas, rather than long term problems. We'll probably realize we can create an artificial sun to solve the problems of less light, then we set the earth

As much as a lot of people hate to admit it, Bungie revolutionized and changed the FPS genera.

One or two bad maps isn't enough to discredit an online experience. I do wish they implemented the title updated bloom things into all the playlists though, it makes running around with the Pistol so much more fun.

" You CAN play it solo if you're a hermit, but you're pretty much admitting that you have no friends to play with "

Oh lord, I lost my shit at this. Beautiful

Reach was really balanced. I've noticed that most of the people who hate it, love Halo 3.
