You can’t get a crew cab with an 8' bed in a half ton. If you want to carry long stuff without most of it hanging off of the open tailgate of your crew cab’s 5' box, and also carry 5 people, just not at the same time, the Avalanche would be the perfect compromise.

The saying I used when teaching my son to drive was “Signal your intentions, not your actions.” I think it explains it perfectly.

I was going to comment the same thing. I just bought a 2020 SEL Santa fe 2.0 AWD (opted against the limited) and never once considered the Palisade. 1) it’s way bigger and we soecifically didnt want a 3rd row. 2) cost most for equally equipped. 3) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I do not find the Palisade

This drives me nuts. On the inverse make sure you have your signal on in correlation with where you plan to turn. Like say you’re going to turn at a light a hundred feet ahead, don’t turn your light on when there’s other little turns in front of said light.

My 06 had ABS... ;)

That assumes the size matches. Probably for beancounter reasons, regardless of wheel/tire package selection, the same 245/70R17 steelie served as the spare on my truck.

Yeah. The Highlander has always had a bit more EV power over the Rav and Prius motors, so the weight savings and efficiency are definitely helping the 4 cylinder pull even.

I have a 2019 RAM Rebel with the 48 volt mild hybrid system mated to the Hemi V8. I’ve not been vigilant on HW MPG tracking but I’ve seen low 20s for longer stretches which good for a big, heavy, V8 powered, off-road equipped truck running on 33 inch ATs.

I’m curious about that setup.

She certainly kept the jewelers, robbers, and now home repair and security companies employed.

We need to be petitioning to stop fully autonomous driving

That seems like an incredibly low hurdle.

“Missed” implies I didn’t see it.

Think outside the box

Right there- the car itself isn’t the main story for me- i’ll never see it, own it, etc. I’m content with my 911 and whatever comes next. But the engineering that goes into a car like this and the art that is the design is why I click on these kinds of articles. Also, as alluded to earlier, Koenigsegg sort of often ach

I think your defence deserves another ‘Ok boomer’.

But I’m sure you’re cool with the invisible seat belts on all of the full size seats...

If only there was an article explaining that immediately following the headline image...

The 4x4 Chevy Tahoe averages around 30 deaths per million registered vehicle years. Fortunately we don’t have to rely on videos. People actually track the data. As a comparison that’s safer than a Nissan Sentra (72) a Ford Focus (68) a VW Golf (63) a Toyota Carolla (43) and a ton of other cars. It’s not as good as a

I think they were referring to the price a similar bottle might cost at a liquor store which would not include the markup the restaurant gives it. He is probably in the right ballpark. I know that when I pay $6 for a beer at a restaurant I could get a 6 pack of that same beer for $10.
