A responsible family man don’t buy an old souped up Volvo.

That’s a good point; I remember in the FNF hey-day, that’s where all the tuners would meet-up, because McD’s was the only food establishment open at 4 AM. Besides Coffee House, anyway, which was usually just a handful of drunk kids on their way home from the bar.

I ♥ NY but NY don’t ♥ me back. :(

It’s the off-season.

Adderall, bro.

Not to mention that in many, many parts of this country, you can legally register and drive UTVs/ATVs on the road...

There’s a Top Gear, err, Grand Tour for that!

IIRC, they all do. With the fuel onboard, you’d probably get half to three-quarters of the way across the country without stopping at highway speed. At the speed these dudes are traveling at, your fuel consumption is just enormous.

If Mahindra went to Jeep they would be admitting that an issue may exist. I am 99% certain their lawyers would advise them to do nothing of the kind. Mahindra would undermine their own argument that no IP issue exists by approaching Jeep.

Can’t say that I disagree. If the Jeep look wasn’t a selling point, they’d make it look like anything.

I bet a 3/4 scale corvette would be pretty fun.

Fancy Kristen is craftier than that. She knows the DPBJ has manpower and raw resources, but little else. She will offer to “lend” and “lease” technology and finished goods; for a price.

Oh, I’m not disagreeing.

Some people pick large, strategically important and functionally necessary hills to die on.

Not entirely true. The Paccar 13 litre engine in a Peterbilt is exactly the same as the Paccar 13 liter engine in a DAF.

But that equity is mostly imaginary outside a small circle of car people, as V is nowhere near M or AMG in general public recognition. That’s probably why GM decided to use as the lite version and will be coming with Blackwing as the top dog.
