True, but some options are better than others when dealing with breaking said terms. Also, they didn’t really break any terms. The contract has a stated penalty if you go over miles. That’s in the contract. Everything is a negotiation. Seems to me, if you buy the car at the end of the lease, any penalty for miles over

Yes, to all of that.  They’re WAY overthinking it. Tipping isn’t a fucking calculus problem. Round up to the nearest dollar, tip 20% on that. At least a bit extra if the server (and yes, that includes delivery drivers) is particularly awesome.
