OG monotheism!

Of course Erdogan has nothing to do with any of that.

The charger isn’t a wear item for all intents and purposes. It isn’t consumed as it is used and its cost isn’t affected by how much charging you do with it. As such, it has to be put with the other fixed, initial costs of vehicle ownership.

And repairs/maintenance. There’s no bust out another kilobuck every time the CEL comes on the Fit, ulike the EA888 engine.

That’s true, which is like 60 cents, or 20% less than premium. Not arguing it’s maybe cheaper to run, just that, in my experience, the praise over its MPG is undeserved.

I used to work at a company doing conferences on (amongst other things) automotive engineering, and autonomous driving was, of course, one of the topics.

No kidding.

I used to travel to St. Louis for work a lot. Whenever possible, I would fly in and back out on the same day.

Except no one is going to buy a self-driving car. They will be strictly on-demand, constantly milling around your city/town/neighborhood waiting for their next gig.

Spoils of war!

You’ve got to be fucking kidding.

fast SUVs are good, Brad.

Wow...I somehow COMPLETELY misread that opening sentence. I owned a 2nd generation Taco, purchased in November of 2004, not 2014. Basically the same truck, but definitely not the current generation. My apologies. I bought it new for $23k, drove it for 13 years (8 of them paid off), 220K miles and no major accidents or
