I’d like to ride one. I absolutely will never pay $30k for a Harley-engineered EV, but you’re right it does look like it could be a decent city bike. Hard to get a sense of ergos and center of gravity, but if we can put cost aside then sure.

I have seen a lot that has towing company phone numbers all over the supercharger stations. Getting towed and having to pay that fee is way better than dealing with local police
Yeah, but it also reduces the pain-in-the-ass factor considerably.
Yes, the video is staged by Tesla Trip’s Patrick Lawson and his sister—but that doesn’t mean they made it easy on themselves.
Or that you’re not just a parts runner for a local dealer.
Well I was thinking mustang. Any era. It would take far more time and money I have or want to invest in it too make it a truly great handling track car.
I have to go with Patrick on this one, a CPO 335/340 w/ x-drive FTW
Glare docks points, you’ll notice that no pickups are on the list because they have a habit of blinding other motorists.
Uhhhh, the IIHS headlight rating also factors in glare for oncoming traffic. If manufacturers essentially just throw on some bright ass floodlights that turn the front of your car into a small sun that blinds everyone else on the road, you presumably get bad ratings on their scale.
If I’m remembering correctly, blinding oncoming cars takes points off the headlight score, which is why a lot of cars several years ago with great projecting headlights still got bad headlight scores.
I know! Although I’m old enough to have had a copy way back in the day ... I think it must have gone in one of my many grad-school moves.
I read that the Chevelle actually stalled during filming, that it wasn’t in the script, and he just rolled with it. Great scene
I liked the first one. I just think it was mismarketed. The second was a dumpster fire.
Are they that worst than the sedan versions with those engines in terms of efficiencies? Plus one of them is electric.
This just means pizza is a self contained meal, where sides aren’t needed. So you could say the same about pasta... Which is also a meal.
The passport is going to come optioned up higher than the pilot on it’s lowest trim, so I’m not sure if it’s going to be fully comparable price wise. It is smaller, but I still think it will start higher.
Edit: Also, that 9 speed, while improved, is expensive to maintain (Fluid is very expensive, $70/liter in Canada).
I honestly like the MDX overall, but yeah, you have to really like it to justify the cost over a well optioned Pilot.
“But savy shoppers will see that there is no reason to buy an Acura right now. The top trim Hondas offer more features on the SAME PLATFORMS for less dollars.”
people have awful memories. They don’t remember how shity those were.
