in another life I got to drive Roush mustangs on the daily. these were tuned, supercharged, 700+hp mustangs. Those got boring so I know what you’re talking about. A one trick pony (hah) is indeed undesirable.

I’m getting sick of reading all the bring over the Fiat Toro comments. I’ve never seen this much American interest in a Fiat before.

The judgement is really turned up down here in the comments.

Doesn’t count as technology?

Alfa and Maserati together is designed to compete with the luxury brands. So this overlaps with Maserati the same way a C63 overlaps with an E400, it might be the same price or more, but it’s a very different target customer.

I’ll give you that.

I’ve never been accused of being “normal”

I almost posted to say the same thing, but checked pending comments first. Nice to see someone else is as petty as I’d be about it

RHD Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, brand new and plenty of budget space for sweet mods:

was actually going to recommend this, gives you a cool neat car and the capability to control it easier.

dont shift in a turn, get a proper alignment

Ha! Saw the comment and was going to say the same thing. I just got back from a vacation and bought 2 big ol bottles of Bombay Sapphire and East Sapphire.

“All beer is terrible. I have tried Natty Ice and Keystone and they suck! Beer is gross!!!!”

I have the same car. Even with good tires and dry pavement the back end will step out at speed when you floor it. I don’t even bother taking it out on cold pavement, much less rain. Which is fine, because W210 mercedes are basically water soluble

It can happen with new German cars too, as Jeremy Clarkson learned while drag racing the BMW M135 against the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

I just picked a 500L as a loaner for my Grand Cherokee an hour ago. Even driving it like it “the fast car in the world,” it is pretty terrible. The ride experience is like a London taxi without the vomit smell.

I came here to say that they already withdrew from the US when they decided to keep the 500 the same for the past decade while building an ugly larger version of the car that they sell about 12 of annually (500L) and a crossover that they sell about 35 of annually (500x).

And it was already old when we got it. It’s a shame we never got the Panda in the US.

And funnily enough, it doesn’t say Yaris anywhere on the iA. Only place you can find it is on the paperwork and manual. Still uses the exact same iA badging as it had on the Scion.

Aha, found the photo which means I have the location which sigh, still no skills/resources.

There’s a Jeepster sitting sad and lonely in a field about an hour from home and I’m not sure I could ever find it again and I don’t have the skills to restore it but it’s soooooooo tempting to go on a hunt for it.
