Yes. Voice implementation is still iffy, but it’s one of a number of things they’re working on anyway that make a lot of the perceived issues with touchscreen infotainment not as big of an issue as people are claiming.

No, they’re doing those things anyway, so it’s ends up mitigating any issue with the screen, which isn’t as big of a deal as everyone here is pretending it to be. 

They’re automating most things, putting them on the steering wheel, and implementing voice controls. This along with built in active safety features means this isn’t as big of an issue as you’re making it out to be, just because you don’t like the trend. 

This was most certainly green lit well before Hackett.
