It’s an EV crossover. The idea that there won’t be a market for this is wish-casting for people who are mad about the name. It’s available well under $60k. Tesla is selling in good numbers in this price range with the 3 and is getting the Y to market ASAP. This’ll also likely sell well in Europe.

They haven’t released the packages for the Select or GT yet. The configurator is preliminary.

Which again is an easy comp while the Ford is still brand new. Once CPO Fords are available, that benefit kind of goes away, or is just the same as all cars in that used/CPO is almost always financially smart compared to brand new.

Ok, but what about when there are used versions of this available? And a used Model S under $40k is getting pretty old.

I am also a fan of that significantly more expensive vehicle.

I would imagine that’s why he mentioned multiple negative GM articles.

Yes, a far more complex and less profitable production line.

Well, not quite the same as a coffee stout but:

You deciding to be an asshole over this isn’t that complicated.

Yes, I understood what you were going for. It just wasn’t very clever, and isn’t made more so by you explaining it. You’re not usually this unpleasant, but if the S10 Blazer is where you draw the line, OK.

It’ll probably have the effect of doing both for customers in general.

Old enough and common enough to not be worth fixing along with a ownership bias towards aggressive drivers and observer-expectancy effect in terms of you tending to remember the cases where you see the expected result.

That’s why you do an EV conversion on a classic car that’s already a safety nightmare. Throw some EV indicators in the outside and you’re all set.

My dream is an EV swapped, suicide door Lincoln Continental.

Good lord!!

That’s not as clever as you think it is.

All cars have those, make a better argument.

I don’t think the EB is bad. But most of the people buying automatic EBs ain’t what a lot of people here would call enthusiasts.

Given I was responding to “LOL.” It’s what I’m willing to give.

Also, the revenue act that created 401ks was passed by a Democratic Congress.
