The Fillory reveal landed with a real thud for me too. Despite mentioning it fairly frequently, they haven't really established why it's so meaningful to *Quentin*, so the reveal carries much less weight.

Only just watched the first ep, and man oh man it was a hot mess. I'm not much of an X-Phile, but I did enjoy what I saw of it back in the day. The promise of it getting better will keep me going, but it kinda killed all interest I might've had in going back to watch the whole show.
