But now we got Louisiana, so… yay?

Those people are all terrible!

Wool shirts? Ooh, classy!

Oh yeah, she was at the DC meetup last month.

Yeah I bet his lawyers are kicking him for giving Boal permission to air those clips, let alone actually do any new interviews.

When the prosecutor started asking him about whether any of the blood came from Avery himself, starting with "In your opinion" I just said "Objection!" to the TV, cuz the friggin expert is there no testify on the samples he tested, not speculate. Which is why I cheered when the chemistry lady was all "yeah I'm a

A more robust appeals system where judges or panels of judges can more easily vacate a sentence. The system seems to be set up so that if 12 of your "peers" (i.e. randos) decide you're guilty, then that's it, you're guilty, and you have to find some obscure legal loophole to have any hope on appeal.

I like that this movie is now getting a medium-swell of appreciation, cuz I also generally liked it, and have since watched it on Blu-Ray a couple times. The story is nothing great, though I maintain it'd be less harshly criticized if Cameron had said up-front it was a sci-fi remake of Pocahontas. And Sam

When I was in college my mom e-mail me asking about my cumulative GPA, but shortened it to "cum". I've never stopped vomiting.

"I'll be deep in the ground before a Star Wars features non-white-male leads, lemme tell ya that."

Just watched Generation Kill for the first time, which was excellent. It took me til near the end to figure out who everyone was and what their ranks were, but it did a great job of portraying a balanced picture of the war and the soldiers without being overly preachy. Now I really want to read the book.

Disappointing, because this sounded promising. But maybe it'll get picked up somewhere else so we can find out if it was an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt or a Mulaney.

The thing that's bugging me about Hateful 8 is… why was the Daisy Domergue character a woman? It feels a little problematic that the most evil character, the one our ostensible protagonists are set to kill, is female. Within the context of the movie, sure, why not, but from a larger perspective, I feel like there

Wait, get the family to Disney? I thought you LIVED at Disney?

I learned that the final boss could be beat by hitting him, quick saving, then quick loading, which would somehow make it your turn again. He'd never get a turn that way.
