Square has gone out of their way to avoid saying that this upcoming release is just part 1 in their promotions. I just went and re-watched the trailer from the end of their E3 presentation, and at the end of the video it says “Final Fantasy 7 Remake... Available Worldwide 0303.2020" Literally nowhere in the trailer

I disagree on the E3 part. I remember (anecdotally at this point) watching them talk about the game and they kept repeatedly saying the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will release in Spring 2020 (or whatever it was at the time) but they seemed to go out of their way to avoid mentioning that this is only PART 1 of the FF7

Late chiming in here, but I haven’t had a single “game-breaking” bug at all through about 20 hours of playing both online co-op and solo on PS4.

Yeah that particular issue doesn’t last long for story reason, but it stuck out to me on one of the early missions where she teleports in at the very end of and demolishes a bunch of bad guys. I was just thinking, “you could’ve done this whole quest in under 15 seconds with those powers.”

If only Siren powers included the ability to actually read the stats of the guns I’m trying to loot while standing next to a chest, and not have to back up and get just the right angle to see the damn stat window.

I’m having fun with the new Borderlands, especially playing with friends, but this has been one of the funnier things I’ve noticed. I don’t find it as frustrating as some of the shitty UI decisions because after the first couple of missions I’ve just come to accept that the objectives are bullshit and try to have fun

You just, like, don’t get it man. The Zelda series has been ripping people off for 33 years now. I mean, you’re still some guy named Link opening treasure chests and solving puzzles, that’s it.

Haha, that was the first thing I noticed too. Especially since the guy who’s a “brawler” obsessed with physical training looks like a damn child next to him.

Nah, man. Don’t you know you can’t think about this shit logically?

It may not have been their intention, but they knew exactly what they were doing.

I’ve made it 33 years on this earth, and for the last 30 of them nobody has ever made me feel guilty for loving Bloodsport until now. Screw you AV Club.

Yeah I knew you could unlock the alternate outfit in-game too, but just the fact that he has 2 separate outfits in the game is hopefully a good sign that they’ll do some better alternate outfits for other characters too. It would seem strange that he would be the only one with that many options.

The fact that Deadpool’s DLC outfit actually changes the character model gives me hope they might add more like that. Because yeah, the rest that I’ve unlocked so far are bad.

I’ve never played the Grandia games specifically, but can see your point based on having played a lot of JRPGs of this era.

I know expectations have changed a lot since these games were released, but I feel like adding fast-forward and some of the other “quality-of-life” stuff hurts the immersion in these games to an extent.

Back in the late 80's/early 90's, my mom used to get comments all the time about me (the second of 3 boys) and how surprised people were that I would be calmly and quietly keeping myself entertained and well-behaved in public places like the doctor’s office, shopping, etc.

Are you me? I’ve been a fan of watching the Kaizo hacks in the past and a very casual fan of GPB, but since SGDQ and the release of Mario Maker 2 in the last month or so I’ve started following Mitch, Poo, and Barb (haven’t enjoyed CarlSagan as much).

What you’re asking makes sense and doesn’t deserve some of the snarky and outright incorrect replies you’re getting here.

Just checked my email to confirm. Not a peep, I’ve received at least 5 emails from them in the last week about payments reminders and rewards, but nothing about the possibility of them allowing someone access to my bank account and SSN, or any precautions I should take.
