PPI prevents all this. If the dealer refuses to let you have one done, huge red flag and move on.

Do I feel bad for the guy? Sure. But should he have done the SLIGHTEST bit of due dilligence? Hell yeah. Who buys a $60k used car and doesn’t buy a Carfax?

don’t judge a bill by only 3 lines copied into an article!

Every self-driving car put into service should have to pass a driving test like everyone else.

Obviously you shouldn’t place it on a Waymo that is already blocking a bus lane, but pick a decent time and place. I think this is absolutely brilliant. Screw our AI overlords.

A machine that can cease functionality because someone took three seconds to put a traffic cone on it and then can only be restarted by having a third party physically come out to remove the cone seems like a machine that doesn’t need to be on the road to begin with.

Volvo V60 - one of the few cars that catches my eye when out and about. Refreshing in a sea of bland crossovers.

I honestly didn’t realize they were.  I mean, at least not without a Waymo employee sitting in the driver seat.  Yikes.

These vehicles should not be allowed on public streets.

There isn’t one.

But what about the fREe MaRkeT???

I only saw the first 10 minutes, but if the main girl's parents drove a Volvo EV rather than a Subaru Outback, none of this would've happened.

Y’all have changed your mind a bit in the past two months, although the blue and green are still at the top despite switching places in the ranking.

Yeah I’ve found a few times right around major life events that I’ll buy the “toy” that I previously wanted due to more income or a special deal, and then not have the time / desire to use it anymore after the life event.

Novel idea:
Instead of going out and blowing $25k before you’re established in a job and have a known steady income, just keep what you have for a year or so so you get a better grasp on life and what you’ll actually need.

I think this sentence is supposed to have a “not” in it;

I’m sorry but this doesn’t make sense. Just because two cars have the same method of propulsion doesn’t mean that they’re going to drive exactly the same - a car is more than just its engine. By this logic, you shouldn’t be able to distinguish between a Forester and a BRZ, since they both have flat-fours. EVs can have

Tesla, because they ignore decades of user interaction experience in favor of a (cheaper) touchscreen that does it all. And because they “inspired” all the other manufacturers to do the same buttonless, soulless touchscreen-focused interior.

Tesla, because Elon.
