Lol, have you ever tried walking places in Vegas?
1. Everything is at least a mile apart. Everything is further away than it looks. Just walking out of casino parking lot to the street will take 15 minutes.
2. It’s about 3 million degrees outside from June to October and there is zero shade anywhere.

This is why I won’t drive late or tired anymore. I hit my 30s and my body just decided it could fall asleep at the drop of a hat (I nodded off at my desk yesterday). Too many close calls and hitting the rumble strips after 9pm.

Year before our son was born we were travelling north on I-69 in Indiana just after the New Year to visit some friends. We’d had 8-9in of snow a few days before and blizzard like winds and while the roads were clear, the wind was blowing fine snow across the dark colored roads where it was freezing. Every 1/4 mile

Worked all day and made a 6 hour drive to Panama City florida with my GF and her kids.. Got about an hour away, about 11 at night. I was going 60+ Long, straight, Two lane road, pitch black at night, absolutely no light anywhere except for the occasional reflector going by. Woke up to headlights in my face. Got back

Actually, since March 2020 never ended, we’re only in the first quarter of the first year of the 2020's.

Some dealers will budge on this stuff...others won’t. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

I know the give and take back is suspect. But, at least pre-pandemic, you bargain out paint protection, vehicle theft and the like.

So...

What I’ve been noticing recently are the ‘paint protection’ and other useless tack-ons that dealers would try to push in the financing office are now added beforehand as ‘packages’ or ‘advantages’ that they won’t budge on. It’s a toss-up between either of these.

We’re now three years into the 2020s (two if you’re annoying about when decades end)

Could Honda have done better? Absolutely.

The answer is always Ford EcoSport.

I got around this by installing  a coal furnace in the bed of my lightning. It heats up everything through radiant heat and it is “clean coal” so good for environment.

Unfortunately, it appears he’s taken himself out of the running:

This one wierd feature! It has rubber that seals the window to keep water out!

If there is a hyperlink in what you are copying, you have to paste as plain text. When Kinja sees a hyperlink in pasted text, it disables the link and moves the text to the front of the line. It looks fine while composing, but when it posts, things get all fucky.

I saw the video was 24 minutes and I immediately knew who the presenter was.  He’s just sooooo long winded and the cadence of his voice is like acoustic sandpaper.

Now why did the post move the bracketed statement from the beginning of that sentence, to the middle? It no longer makes sense. Arrgh.
