DONT DO IT. Spend some time to find carseats that FITS the Accord (Say $500 vs 50K+) . It isn’t like you have a 2+2. You have a LARGE family sedan.

Yeah that‘s part of the problem with hailing them as a solution to climate change. Companies don’t want to lose money to help reduce environmental impact, average people can’t afford to adopt until companies deign to have a budget model that won’t make as much money as the Mach Es and Hummer EVs. It’s almost like we

i basically agree w/you and in reality the EV stopgap is/are E-bikes. Obviously given our terrible to non-existent bike infrastructure in the USA this has applicability issues.

I’m more disappointed in the way EVs are being manufactured and marketed across the board as bloated luxury loss leaders rather than something normal people can afford. EVs aren’t the answer to climate change but they could’ve been a better stopgap if there were more budget EVs available than ridiculous status symbols

Freshly roasted & ground coffee takes a lot longer than instant coffee. Instant isn’t better.

I wish my brown 2017 V90 CC wagon came with a manual. Also, while manuals were available on the 928s, I wish my 1982 928S had a modern manual.

I think you’ve stumbled upon a website that isn’t for you.

Hum. Don’t stop. It’s hard for your body to puke while you’re humming. (kid tested, parent approved)

After watching the owners in my area drive these behemoths, maybe automated driving isn’t a bad idea.

Go full Dad on your passengers. Make everyone line up for a piss before letting them the car. Fill the gas tank at the last station before the highway/freeway. Pack the car with snacks.

Don’t.

Let’s see it work.”

It’s a good and well intentioned start, but it doesn’t change the underlying problem- we don’t consider the parent who stays home with the kids, or the kids, when we design our transit systems.

I accidentally flew with pepper spray once. It was in the pocket of a jacket that went through the X-ray scanner, no less. The TSA’s main job seems to be to inspect my pony tail, which invariably comes up as suspicious on the porno scanner.

For the handful of documented hijackings of US planes between the implementation of airport screening and the establishment of the TSA, there are maybe a couple that could have been prevented by current standards. Some did not originate in the US. Most of the rest involved no actual weapons. The TSA can’t do anything

Watching that in 3rd grade homeroom and at the end of the day going home to an empty house for 2 hours to process it alone.

I'm all for this. If dealerships are as vital as they claim to be they should have no problem competing with online sales.

A friend just picked up the Regal GS and swears it’s one of the best cars money can buy. From what I’ve seen of it so far... he’s not wrong.

Home Depot rents trucks for $20. I’d much rather do that on the rare occasion I buy a vanity than have to drive a CUV daily.

I’ve been stalking the Buick Regal GS for a while now. Both this last generation and the one before it. They’ve really been holding on to their value if you can find one.
