EV’s are still not comparable in price to similar ICE vehicles. Until that happens it’s going take a while for EV’s to overtake ICE vehicles.

While I think a small portion of the backlash of GB2016 was because it was all female, but the vast majority of the criticism is because it’s terrible sketch comedy, with scooby doo quality effects. Personally I think the movie falls apart once they get to the Resistance base. How much better would it have been if say Rey and Finn ran into Han on the home world that later gets destroyed by the Star Killer base.
