Jurassic World to me is a complete missed opportunity. I like the concept , however illogical , of a fully open park, I just wished they had more time exploring the park and less subplots about parents divorces, military dinosaurs and all the extra stuff. Let them explore park, make use of the river kayaks , see a bit

The Force Awakens does somethings really well. It introduced likeable characters played by relatively unknown and interesting actors. However once Rey meets up with the Resistance it falls apart. To me it seemed like 2 separate scripts, one about the search for Luke and another about stopping a super weapon. The whole

Gas prices won’t move the Hybrid/EV adoption until prices of Hybrid and EV’s are in line with Gas vehicles. Operationally EV’s are cheaper but that doesn’t matter for the average person when looking at the upfront cost of purchasing a new vehicle.

I had always hoped that Donner would go back and have the movie rescored or at the very least have had a 2nd audio track on the dvd/blu ray with an alternate score.

I don’t think Maverick or Conspiracy Theory get enough love. Donner had a very solid run of movies and they were diverse. His Superman commentary is one of my favourite to listen too.

Smart TV’s are a complete waste of money in my opinion. The apps are generally never updated and run poorly. I have a Smart Roku tv and the apps don’t support 24fps, update occasionally but generally that will break something.

What is with the giant helmet in that picture. The costume looks something like the Batman Beyond costume but the helmet makes it look like a Funko  Pop.

I don’t know, I personally think Speed Racer is an under-rated gem.

Wages are only one part of the retail equation. The bigger issue in my opinion is the prevalence of on demand scheduling and too much reliance on sale data. It ignores the human aspect that workers don’t exist to solely fill in a gap on the schedule and do have lives outside. And to be honest this type of scheduling

This is exactly the problem, if Brad Bird or some of the other rumored directors had been involved the new trilogy could have been great. I like the Force Awakens but when you look at the scrapped concept art, it could have been so much better. Letting Abrams write the 1st movie was the biggest mistake. To me the

I liked Can’t hardly wait but it seemed to be missing something. It felt cut down.

So I have no issue with Velma being East Indian, I do have a problem with live action adaptions of comics/cartoons/video games etc , leaving out the real draw. Maybe it’s because I was a child of the 80's where every comic book/cartoon adaption was embarrassed (and or lacked the technology) of the source material.

I think for me Man of Steel was as a big a disappointment as Superman Returns. Both movies are 2 sides of the same coin, Superman returns is too boring and Man of Steel seems like an over correction of that, going to much into action. Both of them have a main character who is distant from the audience.

I think people want to believe that it was engineered and it came from lab, because A. They want to blame China and B. They don’t want to believe that there are pathogens out there naturally occurring that could lead to these sort of new diseases.

I would have put Bill Whitaker near the bottom. Not that he was a bad guy but he you could tell his field was as a news anchor. He was very dry.

I really enjoyed this movie but what I remember most is the giant stand in advertising the movie in the theatre. I actually really miss going to the theater and seeing those big cutouts.

I agree, it’s really the only part of the movie that actually feels like it’s an Indy movie. It’s also the only part of the movie that looks like it was not filmed on a soundstage. The movie does such a poor job of making the sets look like real locations.

I’m actually looking forward to this. Mangold is a good director and having fresh eyes on the series could be just what it needs. Ford clearly enjoys the character. If nothing else we won’t have to look at Janusz Kaminski’s blown out cinematography.

What version of the Firestick are they talking about, I have Appletv 4 and 2nd Gen Firestick and the firestick is garbage. Slow to load, poor navigation, and I spend more time clearing caches and restarting to get half decent video performance then I do watching anything.

I grew up with Marvel as a kid and spent years watching poor direct to video representation of my favorite characters. Even after X-men , Spiderman and Iron Man came out, the moment I felt like Marvel was finally honoring it’s comic book roots was when the Hellicarrier emerged from the water.
