I think the one downside of Star Trek VI is that Meyer was obvisouly working with a lower budget. There is something low budget about the finale.

I think now is time for Netflix to up the number of concurrent sessions available in the family plan and stop charging for 4k content.

Superman Returns is a movie that sounded better in the plot synposis then it actually ended up being. The movie below sounded awesome: Following a mysterious absence of several years, the Man of Steel comes back to Earth in the epic action-adventure Superman Returns, a soaring new chapter in the saga of one of the

I have no idea where the money went in Stranger Tides.

I think it’s clear that 2 and 3 didn’t have a completed script when they started filming. Trying to follow the story in both movies is a bit pointless, it seems like stuff just gets thrown in with out much pay off or things are introduced that aren’t built up in the previous movie. Especially the Calisto stuff.

I read the op-ed and my first thought was all of these things sound reasonable. As a Canadian most of these policies are already in place. Only a party trying to rig an election would think this recommendation was bad: “Congressional districts would be redrawn by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats”

I will be happy when Condorman comes to Disney Plus

The worst part of bicentennial man is that the concept of the story seemed pretty interesting but the execution was horrid.

After rewatching Armageddon on Disney Plus this week and I forgot how crap the direction is. I enjoyed it when I watched in theatres, but it’s probably the tied for the worst Michael Bay movie with Transformers 2. I know this will never happen because Bay seems like a control freak but if he had someone to reign in

The saber fight is all done in close up instead of wide shots on AOTC , everything seems lazier. Even Anakin getting his arm cut off is so awkward.

This is why I think Lucas should have had writers take over his story. The only prequel that seemed to have a completed script was Phantom Menace, Attack of the clones had the same issue. It seems like Lucas was trying to craft the movie in editing and we ended up with a mess in both movies. Revenge of Sith seems to

So for me the characters and techinical aspects elevated the Sequels over the Prequels. My biggest issue with Sequels is how small the universe felt. The OT had limitations budget wise, so they kept the more rural areas, but there was no excuse for that in the Sequels.

With a New Hope , Lucas also had alot of talented craftsmen involved, I remember hearing a story that the cinematographer fought with Lucas over the look of the movie, Lucas wanted to do a dreamy filter while he wanted a more realistic image. If you look purely at the camera work and shots in the prequels (non cgi

The positives for this movie, the visual effects are a huge leap up from Attack of the Clones. The scenes on the Wookie planet look fantastic. The downside the movie is very small and confined despite the visual effects work. 75% of the movie takes place in one room apartments or offices on Coruscant . The runtime is

Love it or List always gets me, there is always a problem that the need to find 5000 dollars for but yet they have to have new furniture and granite countertops. I’m sure they are cheaper options for somethings.

I have to be honest, visually this movie looks like shit. The weird aspect ratio and terrible colour grading just makes it look like it would be a chore to watch.

I lost interest when CBS is involved.

I never got the love for Shrek 2. I loved the 1st Shrek but could never really warm up to 2. The Dreamworks movies for a while, seem to devolve in pop culture references and celebrity voices and forgot good stories.

So I’m torn, on one hand the Republicans are preaching democracy, the people voted her in so we have to follow the will of the people, but how can we maintain a democracy where we follow the will of the people but also have some sort of vetting for candidates. What other job out there can you get without a minimum

American government is broken, they need wholesale reform so people like this can’t shouldn’t be allowed to be in government. This honor system that seems to be in place needs to make way for concrete rules and laws.
