Not only low light, but deserted. Metropolis looks to be populated with a few dozen people. Nothing seems to be going on in the city

Maybe some of my American friends can clarify, but why if Kavanagh has been so much trouble to get confirmed would the Republicans not just say, sorry we need to go down the list to someone else?
I think the biggest improvements over Singers X-men movies in X3 were the use of powers and that the movie was more open in terms of locations feeling less soundstagey that Singers movies tend to be. That being said for the huge budget this movie it looks cheap.
Most of the 90's comic art sucked. There was storytelling lost in the art style along the way, instead everything turned into splash pages. I’ll give credit to Mark Bagley and Sal Buscema’s runs on Amazing Spiderman and Spectactular Spiderman for their clear layouts.
Personal to me TDKR fits in perfect with the Godfather III, both feel completely disconnect in terms of characterization from the pervious 2 films. Even down to sidelining major characters in favour of worse actors like Matthew Modine.
I don’t know I think Gotham looks lazier the longer the series went on. By the time Rises came around there was no effort what so ever to make Gotham a distinct city.
One aspect of Batman Begins that really stood out for me was how fluid and open the Tumblr scenes were. It was a big step up from the Burton movies. As cool as the Burton Batmobile looked, it was slow and awkward and the big set piece was around a small soundstage. It was amazing to watch such a big and clumsy looking…
I’m a little disappointed. I was hoping the Disney streaming service would be a home for even the old Wonderful world of Disney movies from the 80's and 90's
I wonder how successful this will be, given that many games have been remastered or updated for the other playstation systems and that the PS1 games have not aged well in the graphics department
Why hire Singer for this movie, any movie that isn’t X-men, and it’s debatable if even those are on the dull side, has been a flop. He is not cut out for scifi fantasy movies, or anything that requires interesting action.
I just find Julie Chen to be boring and lack any sort of charisma to be on screen. I wonder if having her husband be the head of the network is what got her those prime gigs on CBS.
I’m going to say it I think Spiderman 2 is wildly overrated. I think the downfall is that the Maguire and Dunst look like they don’t want to be there and give very lackluster performances. I like individual scenes in the movie, especially the action but the non action stuff is pretty dull.
I really hated that when they kept describing the suspect as an undocumented immigrant. I mean yes it’s true but to emphasize that in the media is just away to try and push Trump’s wall agenda.
I’d like to see some fresh up and coming composers take on a superhero movie. The worst trend lately in movie scoring is the recycling of the same old group of Remote Control composers with similar sounds.
Spectre to me was a fun Bond movie hidden in dull pacing and editing. See ex the Rome car chase
I remember the movie being ok, but being incredibly visually bland for a period movie.
Made worse by being constantly shot with a dutch angle. Too bad Branagh never shot Thor they way he shot Murder on the Orient Express.
It all seems so quaint the Clinton Scandel seems to be now in light of the Trump presidancy.
Every single Corsica I had ever seen had the gas door rust off.
As much as everyone praises Spiderman 2 I actually prefer the 1st one, the tone is more balanced. My biggest issue with the 1st movie is Toby Macguire. I never felt like he represented the Peter or Spiderman I grew up reading. He was too meek and his Spiderman just didn’t have that energy or humour.
