I think the thing is that the enjoyment of the Alliance side of things almost entirely hinges on A) How much you enjoy Gothic/Eldritch Horror fantasy tropes and B) How much you like Jaina Proudmoore.

The Alliance storyline is a slow burn from start to finish - there’s more under the surface that slowly is revealed as you complete each zone. There’s interconnecting threads in each area that help paint the bigger picture as to what is actually going on in Kul’Tiras.

There are DPS meter addons, they’re just not officially supported by Square Enix.
