My exact sentiments. And I’m in Canada, so that’s $65,500 in loonies and toonies.

For that money... I’ll buy a decent pre-owned Highlander.

lol, exactly. Ford needs to stop getting high on its own supply. This is a (bad) joke.

Needs to be wearing a Lincoln badge at that price.

$50k for an Edge? What in the actual fuck....

Yeah, that door is production. This is a production car launch.

Sure it is. The market has just determined (long before any of us were born in many cases) the market for those professions which cannot demonstrate competency is zero and the most effective method of ensuring professions are competent is through a commonly constructed license mechanism, such as government.  Just

Every part of this story is the exact reason people don’t like lawyers and don’t trust the government to make laws. These people just wanted to have some routine maintenance done on their car... now several years later and they’re thousands of dollars in the red.

I live in a city and could easily charge an EV. I would’ve bought one of these if they were on sale last year, instead I bought a new Fiesta ST.

That was a usable sized car with 200+ miles of range and promised to be $35,000 before tax credits.

Not trying to support the Trump theory, but the Model 3 was waiting to be unveiled in 2015, and once it was in early 2016, the pre-order list grew very fast.

I wonder what happened three years ago that made the Japanese think the U.S. wouldn’t want a small electric car and would start regressing as a country?

“Hey it’s even shittier over in a different place, so how about we don’t try to make things better here”

Don’t do this to me, Ralph.

Needs Wing and fire

The “free market” that gave the world 2,000 billionaires and 3.5 billion people living on $2 a day is “the best we have”?

I was in Florida earlier this year, and as we drove down the highway, I couldn’t help but notice that quite literally, two of every three billboards posted by the road were advertisements for attorneys.

Mazda doesn’t need a proprietary charging network. I could see them easily installing DC fast charge stations at each dealership, but Tesla is the only one with a charging network that can only be used by Teslas.

That interior is handsome. Especially those seats. But I don’t think it’s coming here. Mazda doesn’t have the cash I think to release this and have some kind of charging network.

It’s not a particularly free market. Using licensing to limit those who are able to compete in a given profession is not a free market.
