This is the best news I’ve gotten all year. Now I just have to figure out how to watch it in the U.S.

The way I see it, there are two rules.
I know this isn’t the point, but it still confuses me that there’s no Great British Cooking Show. Take the exact same concept, have them cook instead of bake, and it would be an instant hit that could run between seasons of the baking version.
Oh, I like the mojito idea a lot. Thanks!
Maybe I’m being too generous, but my understanding has been that the Paleo diet wasn’t so much about eating exactly what Paleolithic people ate. Just about the theory that because agriculture is a relatively recent development, our bodies still do better on lower carb/sugar diets than the other way around.
Hey, Emily. Is there any chance you know a good sichuan peppercorn-infused cocktail recipe that doesn’t involve gin? My wife hates gin, and I feel like a whiskey sour would be too sweet.
God, I hate regional pizza snobs. So. Damn. Much. Does it taste good? Great. Does it taste bad? Don’t go back. There’s no Divine Right of Pizza that was handed down to NYC by the food gods.
Or just go all in and pick up a Kona EV.
If you could swing the hybrid, at least those are a little quicker?
My wife and I had incredible success doing a multi-month keto diet last year, so we’re both going to give it another go when we finally escape family and get back home.
It’s also important to point out that the seat isn’t the only thing included in the ticket. Even a Comfort+ seat comes with free alcohol and nicer snacks.
Why would you close a profitable business on the assumption that a small increase in labor costs will put you out of business? Everyone in California knows minimum wage is going up. Raising prices by $0.50 here and $1.00 there isn’t going to shock anyone who isn’t an asshole.
Also, the absolute risk decrease is only about 1.5%.
Aside from the fact that I get the feeling these restaurant owners are closing up out of spite (sorry, because of their libertarian principles), I’ve never worked at an independently owned restaurant that was run close to professionally. $50 says whoever owns the Outback down the street could make money managing both…
Double Woodford on the rocks. It’s usually too many rocks, even for a double, but at 30,000 feet, beggars can’t be choosers, and I’m not going to waste the flight attendant’s time requesting a special amount of ice.
As much as I’d like to think there would be enough that he could do that would involve no contact, you’re right. I made that suggestion without thinking after seeing there was such a low chance of him getting actual jail time. In your experience, does a case like this change that likelihood? He clearly deserves jail…
I mean, someone’s got to take out the trash, clean the grease traps, etc. But since the most likely consequence of simple battery for a first offender in GA is parole, what’s your alternative?
My mug shot
