It’s happened to me enough times that sometimes I wonder if I’m chosen to even out the racial imbalance. Or is it actually just suspicious to fly from LA to Munich and back over a total of four days?

I’m a minimalist. We have approximately 30 coffee mugs between the two of us, but I’d be perfectly happy to use my red Target mug every day. It’s a good mug.

The bigger question is why his parents never taught him any of this stuff. I understand not cooking when you have a few million bucks, but did his parents also not cook? Or even make sandwiches? Was one of his parents on the Uncrustables account?

Assuming it’s his first offense, I wonder if they could work out a deal to drop the charges in exchange for something more useful than probation. A donation and several months volunteering at a women’s shelter?

That’s why you complain in the safety of your home on a computer where you don’t have to actually talk to anyone.

Additionally, in a statement to CBS News, Callaway’s lawyer stated that he, “did not act with any criminal intentions” and that “Tommy is a loving husband and father.”

This is...uh...just wow.

In theory, she could ask for it to be freshly fried.

Since we’re talking about fried chicken, I’d love to see a comparison of grocery store fried chicken. Hot and fresh, as well as cold from the fridge the next day.

And yet, when I look on their LinkedIn page, I see quite a few non-founder positions, many of which are filled by people who aren’t straight white men.

Per this article, it also limits assets to $3500. So basically, anyone with a semi-reliable car is ineligible for assistance.

Oh fuck off

While my comment was aimed at companies in general, in this case, I highly doubt the three founders are the only people in senior/executive leadership positions.

Here’s another crazy idea: What if there was also some diversity in company leadership?

Oh, I used to live in Boston. I’ve been to the Ninety Nine plenty of times.

Yeah, but so are taxes.

Sorry for turning this wholesome post into a long thread of people talking about how they all want to die young, Marnie. I mean, I did it on purpose, but also I’m sorry.

Yeah, my retirement plan is basically a heart attack at 70.
