Maaaan that’s a lot of money. Definitely not for me.

It truly is one of the best of the hybrid era. I'm really excited to see such a divergence in design, gives me hope for the next few years
A3, STI, Chevy SS, or Golf R. All reasonable options
They’re talking the hundreds of thousands of people employed by Amazon working in dismal conditions for a company that overwhelms small communities and shuts down small businesses
I love everything about this car, but I have a feeling they’re not really going to achieve “daily driver” status with anything approaching $2m. Hopefully they keep up with designing new cars and can bring that price under $1m where it might fit the bill better.
Considering automatic tailgates on economy cars have had resistance sensors for the better half of a decade now, it’s baffling that something applying enough force to crush a bone/sever a thumb (don’t know the exact details of this case, but either way) on a more expensive luxury car doesn’t.
Yes, the Jersey Turnpike was at the beginning of my 15000mi cross country road trip. It also sucked donkey butt.
Honestly I'm only mildly irritated at the backwards Jetta, and very irritated at the fact the guy recording took up the only other lane to record this, causing drivers around to do some sketchy maneuvers to get around the two.
I’ve been curious why people go for pre-built boxes over getting some carpeting and plywood. I’ve been wanting to put a sub in my car but the Stealthbox is so expensive and I can’t understand why
This is what I realized after like 5 years of passive wonderment
Well hot hatch seems to be the consensus so I’m glad for that. At 50k there’s zero reason to do anything other than a new Golf R. If you don’t care about new and care more about power go Focus RS. If you’re fine saving some money and going fwd there’s the GTI or Hyundai N. AWD for the same price is a new Mazda3 turbo.
Some people may scoff, but there’s still the Jetta GLI. It has the 6mt or the DSG (widely regarded as one of the best automatics under $50k). I’m more a GTI guy myself, but the GLI is still cool
That’s what I thought of. I'm hoping this will be the testbed for a new straight 6 (3jz?)
I get not claiming responsibility and paying the kid 10k. But they have a fleet of cars they could give him as a loaner for dealing with this mess.
Call it a spin-off
You’re complaining about F1 being elitist (I agree, it is) whilst completely disregarding the fact that this heavy has more authority than a commentator. This is F1, interviews about F1 should be expected/required participation for any invited guests.
I mean yeah, definitely Max’s fault. Lewis wasn’t giving him an inch, and this, to me, plays exactly like the Silverstone incident, reversed. 3 place grid penalty seems harsh, I would probably do 2, but I’m also not an FIA steward and my whole reasoning is it falls closer to what I believe to have been a relaxed…
Man that's some fancy way of accusing a man of attempted first degree murder. What a stupid take.
Omg I’m in love. I mean it’s hideous but in the most beautiful way. Wouldn’t touch it with a 39½' pole, and I'm sure glad it's not on the road anywhere near me. But that looks like a god damn riot to drive
If they rename the brand to Kia Motors then no one can complain because both interpretations are correct
