That’s because the drivers are a much greater danger to those around them than their own occupants

There’s one answer, and it’s the big brother of the old “go to” WCSYB car: VW Golf R, Mk8.

Yeah that’s not the thing I have issue with. It’s this guy (Trey Rohrman) and his c*nty response: “I am not sure why so many are having an issue with following rules if such a challenge.”

Sophia Floersch and Antoine Hubert. Sophia's crash shook me with the intensity of it all. And I had NEVER seen an F2 race, tuned in during a 15 minute break hoping to see F1 quali, and watched Hubert’s crash live. Fucking horrifying

Looks clean, new motor, right transmission... No dice.

Obviously this will be unobtainable, but I only hope they see the sheer excitement this has drummed up in the car community and follow this path. It’s undeniably one of the best looking cars we’ve seen in recent years, and more people would love to get their hands on something like it

I have no horse in this race so I'm going off years old info, but I'm pretty sure NJ has one

Seems like it could be a cool display of AR and AI technology (if the modern drivers need to legitimately overtake/defend from the AI racers), but I think suggesting they’re equivalences of these historic drivers is a bit generous. The driver drives the car they’re in; to drive a different car, especially one from a

Yeah and the half dozen news articles I’ve seen on it are just giving them exactly what they wanted.

Never thought I'd vote against a Golf Country, but sheesh. 17k for 170k? No thanks.

Not sure I understand the criticism of printing this card, but I’m open to anyone who wants to explain it. From my perspective, a fun easter egg that is more a collectible than a functional card was released. It’s never gonna be used in TCG, never gonna cause anyone any grief. Someone’s just gonna get rich because

There’s no denying that interior is the place to be, wafting gently down the road. I even think, if the owner replaced any rubber with brand new components, that could easily go for new-car price ($40k) for what will be a brand new 98 Mk8. Not from me or most sane people, mind you, but there’s definitely someone

It’s iconic tbh, race starts feel empty without it

Jesus Christ this comment section is going down like the Titanic.

It’s definitely for enthusiasts. 5k is a hell of a buy-in, but if you’ve spent the cash on a GT2RS, a 5k torque gun that removes the effort of the breaker and the need for a friend is a godsend.

The first one being 400 was a hard enough pill for people to swallow for a headset locked to an underpowered console. Now that they have a capable console, they raise the price further and don’t have backward compatibility? Pft. Dead before it launches

Sure, recovery vehicles should be allowed on track when there’s a safety car on track, but absolutely only if all drivers have queued behind the safety car.

My argument against this being necessary is that that is driver responsibility. Both incidents were because the driver lost control whilst attempting to keep heat in their tires. I would sooner prefer them to ban weaving to get heat than introduce a red flag for every track worker that goes to collect a bit of carbon

“not let any workers or equipment on track until... the safety car has collected everyone”

TIL! And that's not a bad looking Charger
