You’re not wrong, but there are plenty of actors who can play villainous assholes and are super nice people offset.

Honest question: do you think Affleck could do a big budget film? I liked Gone Baby Gone and The Town, but those were significantly smaller and tighter in scope. Not saying he couldn’t do it (hell, the Russos cut their teeth on Community and Happy Endings) but I am curious how it would have turned out.
But wait until the Snyder Cut of Rebel Moon, since clearly the movie was not the director’s intended vision. /s
1. Agree with other posters, the decor isn’t the problem - the food is.
I can’t tell if it’s an upgrade or a downgrade from Perkins’ “sketch about Aidy Bryant acting like awkward teen did not immediately end trump presidency - episode gets an ‘F’” reviews.
My only real issue with this is that it creates a weird dynamic where people see the same thing, but it’s different, leading to different discussions. Someone seeing Han blow away Greedo in 77 likely has a different opinion than someone watching Han defend himself in 24. I’ve had conversations with people about Blade…
As someone who did not watch either the show or the revival, even I was aware that the character was pretty intensely disliked by a large swath of people. I know nothing about Sara Ramirez (other than they prefer the pronoun “they” and they played a largely despised character on AJTL), so most of this backlash seems…
I didn’t see/read Cursed Child (sort of over HP at this point), but I think you could ignore it for canon purposes or whatever and just have a brand new, unconnected series. The first took place in the 90s - update it for the 20s. Fix some of the more problematic stuff (like representation). Give them cell phones and…
Fair, good point
This seems like such a weird project. I can’t imagine that there are a substantial number of people clamoring for the same story they just saw, but longer and over several seasons. People complain about Hollywood running out of ideas, but remaking a series of movies into a TV show telling the same story is…
Weirdly, he seems like a guy who could play a really nice, charming guy... and to your point he is hot negging guy in everything I have seen him in (to be fair... Scream Queens and Top Gun Maverick).
As someone from an area with none of these stores, the amount my PA friends talked about them I was expecting some mind-blowing, paradigm-shifting experience. I went to Sheetz and... I don’t get it. The food wasn’t good (though in fairness, highly customizable). Otherwise it was a 7-11 - good for snacks and a drink. I…
I haven’t seen Tenet (but it is in my queue), but everything I head about it seems to include that it’s lack of clarity around the “rules” of its central premise harms it. Sometimes, the audience doesn’t need things explained - where magic originated in HP, the Force (the explanation there actually made it worse),…
I would add to this that a big thing with fast food is value perception. If I have to stop and get a burger, fries and a drink and it costs me about $8, sure. When that same bag costs $13 or $14, that seems like a rip-off. It might be generating the same margins for the restaurant with inflation, but it just appears…
In my headcanon, they get back together when he gets back sometime in the future.
That’s fair. I still didn’t like it, but I understand why they went that way.

Adam Scott is an actor who is almost universally liked, or at least I have never heard anyone say anything bad about him, nor has he done anything controversial. Why is he not out there in front of every camera promoting this thing? I suspect he feels the same low level of enthusiasm for this as everyone else does, so…
