Edge of Tomorrow is admittedly not a great title. Honestly, if I saw that title on a Blockbuster DVD case with no context, my first thought would be that it’s a period piece about an illicit love affair in 1890s Britain. Live Die Repeat gets the point across better, but it also kind of sucks.

I really enjoyed Edge of Tomorrow and it occurred to me that a prequel (ugh) with Blunt’s character getting the time loop power would make for some good lore-building and if handled appropriately, could deal with an issue other than the fact she fails to end the war.
