Asking someone to prevent a suicide is a high bar. Asking them to be able to prove it was a suicide is a much lower bar, which is why this stinks. How expensive is it to have cameras and mics in jail cells so we know unequivocally that police aren’t assisting suicide, sexually harassing or murdering suspects?
