I've had good luck with Cetaphil cream for eczema. It's kinda greasy so I put it on at night but it works realllly well. Good stuff.

I'll have to say that I was not in a good place this morning (no sleep! very tired) and at first I thought for some reason you were criticizing me.... but I think I tend to get really defensive about my feelings. But then I re-read your post and realized I was projecting and it was actually a nice post. Sorry! And i

Thanks for the videos! I was super grumpy this morning and feeling defense about cracking last night so this was a good cheerful thing to wake up with! :)

I know this will get lost in the sea of greys since there's like 700+ comments on this but I kinda just need to write this out and throw it into the void. If it gets feedback, great! If not, s'okay. So I just had my first trauma trigger and I'm not sure what to do. So 3 years ago I was raped by a friend of mine. It

Actually they can tell where your ancestors originated by doing DNA testing. It's not about race (which totally is a social construct) but about population genetics. They don't use genes that are highly conserved, like those seen in blood types. They use microsatellites, which can absolutely tell you exactly which

Wow, I have no idea where you live but in my state it's less that $50 for a resident hunting AND sport fishing license. Usually I just go for the fishing. Fresh salmon beats deer any day of the week. And processing a deer isn't too hard, just time consuming.

I became romantically involved with my friend's boyfriend while they were dating. Although, he did kick me to the curb after manipulating/pressuring me into having sex with him. Looking back, I think he was trying to get into my pants the entire 2 years that I knew him (while dating Friend). Fortunately both friend

You are my favorite. Most of this thread is my favorite. that is all.

Stupid weather! The boyfriend and I were going to drive down to the state park today, but it was all cloudy and sad looking this morning AND the forecast was calling for rain and possible thunderstorms all afternoon. Cut to now, a lovely, sunny, beautiful day. And it's too late to go to the park because it's a

...yeah. I'm from Kodiak, and while I didn't go because I had work, many of my friends did. He didn't really perform. He got up on stage and danced a bit with the Alutiiq dancers but he didn't perform any of his songs. So while it was a nice gesture, he also petitioned pretty hard during that contest to not go to

Eh. Gracious, maybe. He only stayed a couple hours and refused to perform even one song for the huge crowd that managed to take off work on a Tuesday afternoon (what a fucking random time, right?).

This is great! I love this so much! I think I might borrow this idea for the next FB friend that waxes eloquent about Kale Smoothies and Cleanses. Genius! (it also really makes me miss my Biochemistry and Metabolism class from a couple semesters ago)

No. I'm with you there.

I'm still a bit of a yoga noob, but my understanding is that instead of holding each pose for several breaths like in standard yoga, in power yoga you do one pose per breath so you go through many poses very quickly but with a lot of control. It's really great for toning and more intense than normal yoga. Or that's

Just had my first yoga class in about a month and I missed it sooooo much! I'm liking this new studio, so I bought a 5 class punch card. So excited to try some of their more adventurous classes. Yay! Now to go mini-golfing with the boyfriend and after that poker with the weather department people. Maybe I should clean

I got noticeably toner doing power yoga twice a week through a class at my university. It was a great workout AND an incredible stress reliever.

This has made me so extraordinarily happy today! Good job, logic and reason and ethics!

I think the olive oil really makes it. It's a great moisturizer! I'm a convert too. I just tried it on a whim. haha!

It was One tablespoon brown sugar, One teaspoon olive oil, and "a generous squeeze" of honey. It's suppose to be paste like, so when I made it, I added a little more honey and olive oil to get to a paste but I would start with those ratios. It's really nice! Just do it over the sink, some of the sugar paste will fall
