OK, yeah, I took two minutes and googled up the links to these materials that honestly probably should have been in the article in the first place. ampliTex and powerRibs do not in themselves replace carbon fiber as we commonly think of it. What most people think of when they say “carbon fiber” is technically “carbon

If still available watch DT and Torch spend 24 hours in a van in Canada.  It isn't 24 hours long and it's funny. But yes video for video is just a reason to play a commercial.

Sounds like Blindsight by Peter Watts. It was a strange book. The fake conversation thing is called a Chinese Room.

Trees are only suitable for ring jobs.

It has to go in front of a judge and promise to never do that dangerous thing again, then it has to serve 1000 hours of community service and six month’s probation?

The dam was deemed unsuitable in an inspection back in 2004. It is privately owned, so only the owner can choose to repair it.(!!!) Residents sued a long time ago, but there is only so much you can do to force people with power to do the correct thing. In this case, people are getting screwed because this idiot didn’t

No way! My best friend’s stepdad had one of these and we did the same thing to it (slamming it in park while driving). I thought we were the only ones.

‘87 Chevrolet S10 will let you do the same thing. I used to enjoy freaking out my passengers with that trick. It worked well when doing a cold start in winter though, could take out the keys and lock the doors with it running.

ditto the 1986 buick electra sedan on both counts. ask me how i know.
