Back when I drove around a lot, I loved catching car talk.  The guys had a great personality, talked and presented with so little effort you'd think they rehearsed for months, and like Ray, their voices reminded me of home and fun times.  You could always tell they were far smarter than what you might expect from

Oh, I get you now

They are clearly just making sure the fuel pump is fully energize and that the sender is working properly before proceeding. Safety first!

To be fair, if you go to a cash only establishment, you expect a certain amount of inconvenience.

Not to mention that most of us know about how much a tank, half tank, and quarter tank of gas is in our cars.

Now, if you had say, a ratty beaten up old pickup, you could just somewhat gently shove some dipshit's car out of the way.  You could probably get off on some temporary insanity charge.

On my shortlist is this, a 75 kawasaki h2 Mach 4, and an 85/6 Honda magna v65.  My 2 wheeled white whales.

We have made this car that we think is incredibly badass. We should do a cross promotion with a sports powerhouse.... I know, call the Browns!

You can put an LS in a miata and make a beast... But a corvair is always going to be an effing corvair.

I would legit sell my kidney to a random doctor before I traded my car in to a dealer.

I'm guessing none of those 100k+ miles have been gentle either.  You could spend 15k to enjoy your 3 miles to the gallon, which is, coincidentally, about how many miles I trust this thing to move before shards of metal come shooting out of it somewhere.

How desperate are you to dump 2700 into a car to list it at 3k immediately afterwards?  Dude is attempting to hang his albatross on someone else's neck at this point.

Where does hockey fit into this?

I suppose it’s even truer today. In my head, it’s more a case of thinking back and considering things like the steel mills, and how much “basic building block” production seems to have been lost. I can’t even say the global supply chain is a *bad* thing, since one of the effects is that a lot of fairly innocuous stuff

Unrelated to where our current discussion has led, my favorite personal experience with this was driving through hwy 421 (an i-40 parallel) between a city and the suburb community around rush hour.  Came up on a Lexus speeding up and slowing down randomly, drifting all around the lane and the shoulder.  Found an

Glad it’s not just me transitioning to old man shouting at clouds.

It’s probably highly encouraged for reviewers to have the latest, but I doubt this job provides enough funds for yearly trips to the canary Islands, either :)

It’s definitely on my list, even at full price. Will probably wait til Christmas, though. I will either have more money, or someone will toss me a gift card, and winter sale will also be on, so it *might* have a slight sale going. Sadly, newborns don’t grow on oxygen alone :)

“but it’s less obvious how the knife your characters found in the kitchen will factor into the plot.”

There's certainly truth to that, but we should also consider that humans inherently want to take the path of least resistance.  Abs made CARS safer, but also led to most people born after abs to have terrible braking habits.  Then again, I have no scientific evidence to back that up. Just an opinion and observation.
