Truer words, my friend.

I can't argue with that.  The vast majority of people already drive like idiots.

One of the benefits of having a family full of custom restoration guys - I only pay for the paint itself.  I imagine a full, good quality paint job would be more than that, but no idea.

Robots do everything perfectly when presented with foreseeable events. A robot in a car factory works well. A robot out in public can never be “perfect”, there are too many variables to account for out in the open. Not to mention the many levels of failure states available.

The one does tend to beget the other.  That's why I hate all this driver assist shit.  It encourages people to be even more oblivious on the road.  Why on earth would you operate a mutliton piece of metal at high speed and not give it all of your attention?  It kills so many people every day, and the impact forces and

Every time I drove my mother’s car for her, I’d be cruising along in cruise control, get ready to pass, then realize an eigth mile away that they’ve sped up and I don't need to pass.  Then I look down and see, actually, I'm now doing 59 in a 70 thanks to radar cruise.  It happens subtly enough thst it's easy to miss

Not even sure if it’s appropriate to refer to any decent sized corporation by a national moniker anymore. They’re so widespread in assets and investments and little money hide-holes that it barely counts.

I remember when Jesse Helms made a big stink about made in America and how China is ruining everything... And then some local news station pointed out all his Jesse helms merch he was selling wss all "made in China".  None of his voters thought twice about that.

Jesus man! DON’T GIVE HIM ANY IDEAS!!!

I think it’s real value is to insurance companies and injury lawyers when a capacitor pops and people start sideswiping one another because they now no longer realize they have necks that swivel.

Buick and Chrysler were essentially Jalopnik’s co-grandfathers. They are responsible for making hot rods a thing for the masses and not just race nuts.

Pretty sure a) screwing unions is just a cherry on top to Trump and

Shouldn't the title just be "Adam Schefter is Embarrassing"?

It needs a paint job anyway.  Pick any color you want.  Don't think there much mileage in keeping it original at this point.

I would 100% put on my cam Newton hat and drive that baby

This is the truth right here.
