I’ve had some experience living through something like this, and it got awful scary but David Duke ultimately lost.

There is a quote about Vietnam - “if you’ve lost Cronkite, you’ve lost America.” Let me repurpose that here. “If you’ve lost Hannity, you’ve lost a hateful moronic hypocritical smug semi-sentient potato.”

Oh man, the ride-or-die Moore supporters have a pretty big overlap with the believe-everything-Hannity-says crowd. Who will they take to Twitter in support of? Some brains are exploding out there in Red State Land tonight.

It’s also a neat monetary fact that, if you start with a penny and double it every day for an entire month, at the end of the month Sarah Huckabee Sanders will still be a total asshole.

...who won the Indy 500? What engine? What driver is leading the season championship? What engine?

They’re still not really comparable situations.

True. Completely different.

if they finish that is significant improvement.

Don’t link the F1 engine issues with Alonso’s bad luck at Indy. Different engines completely, different tech, different development teams, different continents. Irrelevant.

So does this mean they’ll only finish way behind instead of way, way behind?

Yeah, if they just listened smart people like us, the world would be a better place. lol

There are a few Karma’s rolling around my neck of the woods and honestly I don’t think the car has a bad angle. On the move they are gorgeous.

Not a chance. In person, the Karma was arrestingly gorgeous - as in I literally stopped walking just to stare at one as it passed.

now we have the final design. And it looks, well, like a Model 3. Except uglier.

Outside of N. America, it’s spelled “kerb” when used as a noun.

All these years lost with Ecclestone...what might have been....

And ‘tyre’. I feel exotic when I spell it like that.

When it comes to motorsports, we spell it ‘kerb’

Bingo. In just a year or so, Liberty has brought F1 media forward 20 years.

It is. The thing about F1 is while it’ll always have the air of eliteness around it, they also understand that they need to open things up to the fans. At least Liberty does, Bernie didn’t. I don’t see them going full on Indy levels of openness, but this is still nice.
