If you’re not opposed to working for a religious organization, Catholic Charities has refugee resettlement programs around the country. I left with a bad taste in my mouth, but that was because of my immediate supervisor, not the overarching organization or their work.

Yes! I love the IRC! I interned there one summer about 8 years ago and still donate to their causes. My super Republican mom even asked that we donate to the IRC (or “buy” clean water, etc.) in lieu of gifts for her birthday.

Yes! HIAS does wonderful work!

They had a story about that on NPR this morning. Thank goodness it had a happy ending.

Charity Navigator is legit. That’s one of the reasons I stopped donating to the American Red Cross. A much larger percentage of their donations than I expected went to administrative and fundraising costs.

7 PM Central Time - I wonder if we can get our local pub to broadcast the press conference (will it be a press conference or just a tweet?). Nevertheless, some drinking will most certainly occur. The only crappy part is I have a public policy meeting the next morning where I have to stay nonpartisan. Argh.

I’m sure he’s aiming to be later be viewed in the “banality of evil” sense. Only problem? He looks and acts completely abnormal and has since the beginning. We have to keep resisting this normalization of his bigoted, hate-filled rants and EOs.

That’s fabulous. I used “Cheetolini” in a text with a group of girlfriends and one of them has adopted it. I proudly admitted that I stole the name from someone on Jezebel, but can’t remember who it was. Nevertheless, genius.

Agreed. I hated her Globes dress. I love her and think she’s absolutely beautiful, but girl needs a new stylist/a better handle as to how to va-va-voom the red carpet.

That’s how genocides and mass murder happen across the world. It’s how people are able to justify murdering other human beings: they view them as less than human and theoretically “deserve it.”

THANK YOU! Will you please go everywhere across the Internet and all of the Facebook Pantsuit Nation groups and remind people of this?? We want to be effective and to be listened, not ignored. And it’s not always the kids’ faults that their boss is a douchebag.

Hahahaha. that made me laugh out loud. Thank you for that.

I have a cat that rubs his face on our shoes after we get home. It’s a very strange habit, but whatever floats his boat.

Parks and Recreation is a great way to go. The amount of respect they show each other, even when faced with adversity, is heartwarming.

I have a cat who only drinks out of the running faucet. I mean, I’m sure he’ll drink out of a bowl if he MUST, but we have to keep it in the sink because otherwise he gets it all over the floor. Every time someone heads near a bathroom, who runs ahead of the them, jumps on the sink, and then sits and waits for you to

Agreed. I feel like “despicable person” doesn’t hold the same gravitas as it used to.

Yes! Cheers to you and your united fight against trolls! Next step: the biggest, nastiest, smelliest troll of them all. DRUMPF.

I’ve been rewatching 30 Rock, but had to hit the pause button. Some of the episodes are hitting a bit too close to home these days. Damnit, Jack!

Yes! You can do it! #StrongerTogether

I know there are quite a few Jezzies who will disagree with me saying this, but...
