Exact same steering wheel that my 2000 R50 Pathfinder had. I’m going to go ahead and assume that every Nissan built between ‘91 and the early ‘00s had it.

Ours never exceed 50km/h. In fact, they’ll never actually leave airport property and spend 90% of their life idling (between November and May anyways). The biggest drawback to all the other alternatives is their poor maneuverability. The F-Series Super Dutys that we have now suck for trying to get into a tight space.…
Our company is slowly replacing all their Ford F550s with these. They’re way more maneuverable (they end up in pretty tight quarters with aircraft) and way cheaper to repair. But we’re based in Canada, so all ours are bagged as Isuzu NPRs. Ours are all diesel though, and according to our mechanics they’re way easier…
People in Canada still buy droves of Frontiers, like, a lot. They don’t depreciate like other trucks up here so they’re few and far between used (Average price used for say an ‘07 V6 4x4 with 200,000kms is $12k-14k. Even the previous gen ‘99-’04 will still run you $5k-7k). I assume this is why Nissan is still building…
Thanks! They were Aero Race Wheels off a circle track Civic with 30 year old Goodyear GT Radials that were intended for an early 80s Mercury Capri. My buddies dad had them in the rafters of his garage, they were brand new and had ZERO cracking. I`m pretty sure I still have the set somewhere.
The rear hatch was split into two pieces. The rear window opened upwards, while the lower half of the hatch containing the taillights and license plate opened downwards like a tailgate on a pickup.
I have owned countless SUVs, a Supercharged Xterra, a V8 Silverado, Porsches, Accords, a brand new Civic Coupe, and even a Subaru SVX, and nothing will ever put a smile on my face like my 1992 Civic Si did. You could throw the seats down, leave the tailgate down, or the rear glass open (It was a split hatch) and have…
I get so boiled up inside when I see that stock photo of them destroying a perfectly good, 2 Door WD21 Pathfinder.
I have put better roll cages in amateur demolition derby cars. And they have VERY low standards.
A lot of airport ground handling equipment circa pre-1990 use these engines. Their amazing. Loud as hell to. It’s closely related to the Detroit Diesel 6V series of engines, which is the best sounding diesel ever. Period.
Here in Canada they’re beginning to sell droves of Micras. In fact, it looks like the Nissan Micra and Mitsubishi Mirage have somewhat of a battle going on up here. Other than that, they sell a lot of Pathfinders & Frontiers up here, and I mean a lot. For a truck that’s been on the market for 12 years without a…
3rd Gear: Americans Love Nissan!
I used to work for a certain Japanese automaker, and we had one cold weather test which I never fully understood. The vehicle would be placed inside the testing chamber, then left at -5 degrees Celsius with all the windows down, and constant electrical power running to the vehicle (engine not running, plugged in…
As one of the many Canadians that doesn’t have Fox Sports Racing (Brand new channel), I’m hoping it’ll be streamed on IMSA.com, even if I have to foot a couple bucks for it.
Every time I see this stock photo/video I get physically pissed off that they destroyed a perfectly good WD21 Pathfinder. And a two door one too. God I hate the NHTSA.
I hate nitpicking, but Pratt And Whitney Canada builds the PT6.
Hoping that this is a sign that the Mogwai Racing pillows I ordered from Arch Duke Maxyenko will arrive in time for Christmas.
