Some people need time and exposure to this stuff to figure themselves out, being all puritanical about it to “stop exploitation” isn’t doing anyone favors, as far as I can tell it’s not like you suddenly wake up one day knowing your whole identity so that you can strictly consume media perfectly aligned with it!

As much as I want in-person live events again, I do hope digital events don’t go away entirely; the occasional streamed concert seems like a fun way to get music to a potentially wider audience; I miss GDQ’s couch and live audience but it’s been fun having some runners and games who couldn’t normally make it, so I

And all-digital E3 has absolutely none of that.

Weirdly horny comment about a fictional character.

I’m more of a RPG guy these days, which generally have a built-in way to make them easier - grinding. Not exactly the best difficulty slider, though. For one - this is my main problem - there’s no good way to make the difficulty harder, to make it more challenging (besides arbitrarily limiting yourself for some

Somehow they really work, and I’m just disappointed they didn’t round out Deluxe with a few more F-Zero tracks with added sax.

Hey, we’re not alone! There’s not nearly enough of them, but they’re all so hot amd both so cute with Link I kind of have to. (Also I’ve learned way more about shark anatomy than I ever wanted and... believe Sidon is more than capable, I’ll leave it at that.)

Square ran out of belts and Nomura needed to borrow more from somewhere.

Link starts Breath of the Wild nearly naked, which is clearly the better alternative :P

Now playing

I’m pretty sure this is canon too (volume warning):

Link and who, though, that’s the question :P

The sword’s up skyward, you have to hold the sword skyward to charge the skyward strike, it maybe doesn’t work on quite as many different levels as FFXIV:Heavensward which also introduced the Heavens’ Ward (wait, are the people of Skyloft wards of the sky, I don’t know) but the spirit’s there!

Decided Skies of the Wild sounded sick yesterday.

IIRC, there’s a title drop somewhere, and it still doesn’t make any sense.

I bought (okay, asked my parents for) Skyward Sword from a Blockbuster going out of business for $25. Now, I loved it once I actually got back into it, maybe a few years later. (Earlier I was bad enough at video games I got stuck near the end of the first real dungeon.) And I’m very glad it’s getting an HD release.

I feel like there’s always been a pretty strong agreement that Skyward Sword had some pretty good dungeons (even if the over-tutorialization underminded them sometimes) and decent story, it’s just the whole game is full of flaws?

I constantly had trouble with stabbing - which was needed for several enemies and also the last couple of bosses - being read as slashes. I’d practice trying to do something the game would read as a stab in Skyloft half a dozen times, go into the boss fight, fail to execute it under pressure, die, and practice again.

Hope we get customizable hair, that’d be fun. Bring back random Pink (hair) Link from Link to the Past, you cowards!

I personally felt the weapon system was cool at first, and dragged on me as it went on.

I’ve really liked Age of Calamity so far, and Zelda and everybody else just... being there!... is great!
