They made a Warriors game out of Breath of the Wild and it ruled! Entirely convinced you could make a decent action game with some FF1 trappings and it’d be awesome (and get some backlash probably, yes, but even more hype.)

I heard he was actually a voice of reason on VII Remake? Clearly, this was the cost. GDQ had some really fun runs of DOS Mega Man, in CGA (4 colors, two of which are cyan and magenta) after reaching an incentive, just to make sure it looked even worse.

I’m surprised the style converted over so well, but I guess the original sprites being ridiculously 3D-feeling for a cartoony sidescroller meant it was a pretty smooth shift.

I’m still convinced they had to literally blow up the original release mainly because there were no catboys and big ladies, very important section of the market there!

Apparently I put this in my wishlist at some point a while back because I just got told it was coming out, so now I need to figure out what it is and if I’m still interested at all. IIRC, deep down, the SNES is basically all samples. Just between the limits on how many samples you could load into the sound chip’s RAM at once (64 KB), the compression, the hard limit of 8 channels with certain effects, the limits on how many samples you could put on a cartridge before they’d really cut into your…

Too on the nose, this show’s writers need a better editor.
