I still have the memory of doing something with the wheels off (rotating? brakes?) and seeing the jack slip as I was adjusting it...it was a heck of a scare when my grand prix fell the short distance to the jack stands that were thankfully still in place. Even though the car didn’t move much, still a bit of a bang and…
I fell out of the game a few times, picking up other things until Final Fantasy 14 was on sale when they launched it on steam...which killed any desire to ever sub again, or pick up swtor for any length of time, or level my wizard in Neverwinter or...
We’ll probably see more as the game drops subs as a means to make things easier on those who will continue to play. Though to do more co-operation than mercenaries would probably need a final resolution the the conflict that involves the human leader finally untwisting his panties since iirc, he’s the only one with a…
It really depends on how many people you’re taking with you. Despite the amount of long distance driving I’ve done, I don’t normally associate long distance solo driving with “road trip”, though I’m sure people do. In the context of this vehicle, as new, I’m picturing an older couple and/or small family (since it…
Storywise you’re right, gameplay however...its fairly ingrained and would be hard to rework everything, especially where people are not counting the game to be around for too many more years (though we’ve been saying that for a few years already...). IMO in the ffxiv vs WoW comparison, PVP and the fact that it has…
Thing is, they’ll likely be sold at prices for people that would be able to easily afford the flight instead. I imagine the venn diagram of “could buy a brand new luxobarge” and “would rather drive 1000 miles over driving” is a fairly small overlap. I could see some of my inlaws almost being there, but they’re the…
Neutral: It’s probably already here. Most new parents want the larger vehicle for kids, people want to be able to put their dogs in the back rather than on the seats, people think they’re going to spend a ton of time at home depot getting lumber all of a sudden for the extra room (not saying some don’t). They’re…
I lucked out I guess where the original driving school near me I went to in the first place offered it.
Or, call up a driving school and ask if they do manual classes, find out its usually not that much and book a session. A good teacher and a competent student will have it in one session anyway.
Though, your version is a much better story than mine, especially where my follow up car was a foxbody and not a Ferrari.
That isn’t typical for car returns afaik, but as I said, most cases. Stuff like the US cooling off rule doesn’t cover car purchases, and if its due to issues, then it tends to fall more under lemon law protection which varies from state to state. This is with the general assumption that the majority of the readership…
Except returning a car you just bought isn’t really that easy in most cases. This is more like the volt buyback program which is a rare case in the auto world.
I thought it was because the report was made by a “Sarah O’ Connor” and that is how most people got the news. She happens to be a legit journalist, but the name, the fact that it was a robot related death and the fact that a new terminator movie coming out made it a perfect storm to make jokes instead of leaving it as…
Pretty much the same with mine. I’m fairly certain I’d be canned on the spot for letting people in that shouldn’t be and I’ve had to refer people (like a pizza guy) to go through the front desk rather than the employee entrance at least once.
I’m not even sure if even then, because there will still be a vocal group crying “no replacement for displacement” and crying over a lack of v8 option even if they could get the same end result in a smaller and more efficient engine. They could nail the feel and it would just not be enough for some and they’ll vocally…
Yeah, its kinda nuts...acceleration really came into play when I purchased a new vehicle because each second slower you go seems to affect your odds of being able to merge onto the highways here. The Fusion’s not exactly a Focus RS when it comes to it, but its certainly enough to not feel like I’m constantly in the…

And this is why it’s going to be hard to see it go away when gas engines are finally done, thankfully we’ve still likely got decades to go (or not, depending on your environmental views).
It still seems to be largely ingrained as a cultural thing in North America, I imagine by the time that really dies off, we may have finally moved on to alternative engines anyway (fuel cell, pure electric, etc).
Neutral: It’s tough to say. Right now the 4 is positioned as a premium option over the 6 in the Mustang, which may help its appeal. The new Mustangs also a breathe of fresh air for what we had for a decade. When the 6 is killed off entirely and it’s seen as a “base” engine again, it may change some perception of it.…
I disagree. Other than potentially selling to two different mindsets (some people buying a Mustang because its a Mustang). You also get a fwd vs rwd argument with the Ecoboost vs ST.
