Here is a piece of advice of those who have gone through it. If you're sick of side quests in any particular area, watch for the currents quests or look up which they are and get your exp out of dungeons instead. Its not like those sidequests are going anywhere when it goes time to use them for a second/third/10th job…

People keep trying to correct me on FFXIV’s dungeon layout like I haven’t done everything but the two new EX primals (probably get both done on the weekend).
Dungeon: 4 man content with the exceptions of two MSQ dungeons for ARR which are 8 man.
Trial: 8 man content that is a single boss, normally one of the primals…

Uhh...what did I say about powerwashing? I suppose it was implied from what I linked it to, I’ll give you that. I’d call it easier to clean than some interiors in a lot of ways, but, powerwashing is overkill. I mostly just like the vehicle overall.

With the way things are lumped so far, I’d imagine Necro would be specialist, where they like to lump heroes with summons. I could imagine bone spear (talentable to spirit) skele (talents for mages? and more skeletons obviously), wall (talents for prison), golem trait (talents to change from clay to iron/blood/fire)…
The amount of people disagreeing with you suggests I’m not, but you continue to worry about the newest call of duty as a means of moving gaming forward and I’ll just worry about playing more games period, like a proper gamer.

I’ll disagree. I think a dev should have a say in this. Now, I’ll think whatever dev actively opts out is a big jerk and may not deserve my future funds, but, they should have the choice.

Shit, you’re right. I missed that in last nights presentation, it seemed kinda neat for whatever they’re trying to do, but I made my choice in the console wars (well, without a serious injection of funds or some price drops).
100 games by the time it hits the masses later this year, not 100 total for the lifespan. It’s dev opt in, so they can’t promise the whole library if devs don’t want to make their titles available this way.
That was my takeaway, so its a plus. It sounded like there is a mandatory trial mode for every EA game, so you can play before you buy. You can’t say the same thing for what we see on other platforms...
