I have a weird theory that the genetic modifications will eventually turn him into the Traveller, from TNG, you know the one that Wesley wandered off with?

I briefly followed you, that might do it?

Agreed, they need some familiar *positive* pairings that we can latch onto. Michael and Tilly aren’t really there yet. I guess Stamets and the doctor might represent that dynamic. I don’t know though, it points at the main issue with the series: characters serve the plots rather than the other way round.

Actually I think the most used Defiant set after the bridge was the mess hall. They enjoyed pontificating there.

Bilbo’s looking a bit grey, but Gollum seems much healthier. Is Africa where the elves went in the end?

Hah, I do remember that one. Classic Hal obsessiveness.

Well now my next project has to be a Stardew nightmare mod. Townspeople randomly get sick and die. Farm animals too. Even your pet. You start to develop respiratory problems from your time in the mine. If you don’t spend enough money at Pierre’s, he goes bankrupt and shoots himself.

Oh god Yoshimo, you broke my heart.

Fortunately that’s not implemented in Baldur’s Gate :p

I’m going to keep coming here to comment on Fridays, and other days, because we have to put the effort in if we want our community space to belong to us, and feel like a nice place to be.

SDV is amazing at offering you bitesize achievements at just the right rate to get you hooked, without being obnoxious if you decide to do nothing for a day. The only time I remember being disappointed in myself the first time around was missing the spring dance in year 1, but that just made me all the more determined

Mm that music gives me a strong Katamari feeling.

If the character generation worries you, decide in advance how many character points you want to have. I don’t know about you, but we sometimes did that in 2E to make sure that if you wanted to play a certain class you could do so. BG 1 doesn’t offer much in the way of stat boosts, but if you take the character

No D&D this week I’m afraid. Barely time to play anything at all. I think I’m coming towards the finale of Tyranny because I’m on the verge of 4 out of 5 pillars. A few things have started to irritate me about the way certain quests have been constructed. The premise of the game is that you’re working for the high

I’m not exactly expert on matters Tolkien, but is it even the case that Orcs have free will in the first place? I thought that they were basically driven by Sauron to do as he willed. In a sense, they are already mind-controlled, having already been created an indoctrinated by the forces of evil, I don’t think it’s

Yes, the old Settlers joke: Has anyone got wood for sheep?

Jake in DS9 was much better.

My bet is that they accidentally destroy all the space mushrooms in the universe. I mean, somehow these things exist everywhere, throughout space and on planets, and yet nobody noticed them until that point, or later. They have to go.

The rule used to be to name two historical things and one made up thing, and now they’re doing one historical, one modern (ugh) and one made up. Such a bad decision.

The previous installment of Wolfenstein did have a separate iron cross version for Germany. Weirdly, here in Switzerland, I have both editions in my Steam library.
