They should have hired Pininfarina again. That front end is hideous and no one who would be interested in this car is an “Acura family” fan. I loved the original, and the second mod, this one is pure fail IMO.

Ah, that’s the difference; I’ve never opted for the extended warranty.
Any no, you’re right, none of my new cars were German.
Good luck ; )
I don’t blame you, I take my modern cars into the shop too.
Then again, I’ve never had anything go wrong with a modern car while under warranty - always after.
Ya I’m just talking about the 3 series. Specifically the M3 which shouldn’t be a sedan IMO.
I’ve only purchased 4 cars with warranty over the years. Most without. Never once did anything even remotely serious go wrong under warranty. Sure a bit of that is luck, but I’ll stand by my assumption that warranties are over-rated.
The E30s are awesome, E36 is pretty good too.

My biggest complaint about the newer 3 series is no Coupe.
I’m not buying a sedan and never will.
Devaluing an existing car/brand is never the answer.
America does need an entry level sports car in the 300HP range; not just the big old retro Camaro & Mustang, but ruining the Corvette is not the answer.
Veyron gets my vote.
I see your point, I agree.
In reality the system would likely become corrupted by the need for power which would lead to war and oppression.
However, I think it would be far more difficult for these power-hungry types to divide and conquer public opinion like they currently do if the vast majority of people were…
Well, yes and no. I think MOST people have pretty modest needs and wants that could be met and exceeded with a decent replicator.
I think the bigger question would be if people would get lazy and apathetic due to lack of competition and achivment- which is something people DO need
Oh, and the review is wrong, the dude reviewing it is too old.
I had a brand new TA off the lot in 1998, it’s wasn’t “dads” and I was just 3 years out of high-school. It was my second one, I had a used ‘94 previously.
It was 15K less than the Corvette if I remember correctly.
I still think it looks better than most cars on the road.
Totally agree, I worked HARD to get one of these when they first came out. My love for the 1994 TA resulted in a great carrier and a lot of speeding tickets and fun; I later got a 1998 as well.
I never understood he Clara hate. Loved the ending.
I completely agree on the death, very out of character and seemingly unnecessary.
I do LOVE the ending though, disagree on that one.
I was really a big fan of Elon Musk; using advanced technology and his own money to evolve our society. But he lost my support at carbon tax...
I think most political disagreements in the civilized world come down to competition for resources.
