Eh, I think the OP’s comment was less about the subject of the post and more about the “oh, here’s something the internet likes, let’s take a hot wet dump all over it” attitude that became so familiar over on Gawker.
Hello Gawker my old friend.
Night falls, drawing yet another day of the fighting to a close. You lean your head back against the Ram Rebel TRX…
Also - Eddie Jordan needs to go.
“The refreshed Top Gear did away with the Three-White-Guys-Plus-The-Stig format and instead delivered a very different-looking cast of presenters.”
This is why I like Niki, he calls it as he sees it. Guy is too old and has been through too much to really give a crap anymore.
A few things... I’m by no means a Lewis fan, but I don’t think this should pit Lewis in a bad light. This isn’t a first - Senna trashed his Monaco flat after Monaco in 1988, and I’m 100% sure this happens all the time in high level sports. He can get through his emotions in any which way he wants as long as he keeps…
Unfortunately, this still seems to be the de facto driving strategy in Forza 6 online. :/
This pretty much sums up Hell to me. Take all the worst people from every cars n’ coffee, car show, and autocross you’ve ever attended, confine them in one location and add limitless drinks. I would throw myself overboard.
Because this is a Gawker site...one has to include racism at some point and be sure to virtue signal that they aren’t a Trump supporter...it doesn’t matter if it is relevant to the conversation or not - one must make certain that the mods at Gawker know that you’re”not one of them...not one of those people”...One must…
It just makes me sick that people in America will sue for anything if they think it will get them a payday. Where did we go wrong? We are turning into a nation of crybabies, free-loaders, and whimps.
Most of the crippling cost of living and healthcare is that way because of lawsuits. So, it sort of goes full circle. lol
Lawsuits. That is the biggest problem with this country. Lawsuits. This seriously needs to be changed so that people can only sue when there is actual monetary damage involved.
I ran through the costs once. I hate opening that up, but I keep thinking about making the crapcan road legal enough to run back and forth to the shop, so ugh. My 944—as far as the budget-related items went—was easily $500. Bought for $800, sold off several HVAC, interior and other random kit (like the unobtanium rock…
Fucking Subaru ads are HORRIBLE in just every single way. At least the Prius ads have some creativity behind them.
Plenty do. Some stuff has to line up in your favor, like people on Craigslist and eBay wanting the crap you pulled out of it, Good scrap prices, Expectations of performance and possibly reliability correctly lowered.
BRAKES. my vehicle’s brakes have to be on point. If i sense anything going on with them i will go streight to the shop and have them looked at. I have an irational fear of major brake failure. Please tell me im not the only one.
Electricals, but for a different reason. I don’t want to hack up my wiring harness when I have no idea what I’m doing. Totally foreign world of fixes there.
If the movie had been a biopic about James Hunt, I'd agree. But Rush was about Hunt and Lauda in the 1975/1976 Formula 1 World Championship. The backstory existed to establish the characters and the world they inhabited, but there was no reason to go beyond the final race. I personally think Lauda's spoken narration…
