*shrug* Still a profit, though. And control over fairly high profile brands with a lot of cachet. To replace them with investments in blockchain, of all things, rings as a pretty bad business decision to me.

Yeah, but...also that was over 20 years ago, lol. Every game in the last 20 years has been modern or sci-fi. Possibly more of them than there ever were WW2 games in the 90s. Although I suppose there are fewer concurrent series.

It is a little odd given that WW2 shooters haven’t been ubiquitous for at least 15 years, people just remember that saturation still I guess.

I highly doubt most of the type of gamers you’re describing even bother with the single player in these games. That’s why they’re always such an afterthought. They’re just there for the multiplayer.

Freedom to live as whoever you want to be.

And I can’t even understand why anyone would want to live there in the the first place.

I lol’d, nice.

And finally the car has a reason to exist

I always wondered why you couldn’t just crank up the steering ratio when people talk about how bad the yoke makes driving KITT replicas.

7 years ago? Didn’t this new raid just come out?

Oh absolutely, I didn’t mean to imply that I’m defending it. Just that this is what the chart should have looked like if that’s what they’re doing.

If S3&K have the proper music, I’m in.

All that purchase option nonsense is bullshit, though.

Picked it up on this sale last week. I downloaded the demo some time ago but never got around to really dive into it. But I want to have a solid classically-styled JRPG available on my DS after the store closes, so it seemed like the time.

Yes, they shipped a very good game and then broke it themselves. Which I think might be worse.

I knew the primary response would be “here have some credits,” rather than properly undoing the nonsense. But some of those changes are genuine improvements, at least.

I think the obvious implication was “in the context of game preservation,” but by all means keep wagging your finger.

It’s not fair use, but that is an insane comparison.

From Ted Cruz, to Ben Roethlisberger, to Reese Witherspoon, to random rich guys: no matter what situation you could conceivably find yourself in, the phrase “do you know who I am?” will never endear you to a single person. It basically makes you the villain even if you somehow were in the right. Just stop before you

Yeah, and it was worthy of scorn then and I said as much. But now that people couldn’t play their single player game for 2 days for no reason at all, more people are noticing why. And that’s as good an opportunity as any to get heard.
