CD Projekt IS the dev though...? Don’t we usually only bother to make that distinction when there’s the issue of publishers vs the dev studio. CDPR IS the dev studio, so complaining about the “devs” is not tantamount to blaming some bottom rung employee in a cubicle.

Always funny how in TOS, TNG, and DS9, activating auto-destruct was a fairly long, involved progress requiring multiple people and authorization keys. But by Voyager Janeway could just turn it on and off at her whim.

Also you’d have to think the engineering section would the part with secrets-needing to be protected, but that part goes unscathed (before burning up in atmospheric entry).

Why would the developers care about a Best Direction award?

Who said anything about taking an award away? The article just says that it shouldn’t have been given an award for project management that was managed poorly. 

You aren’t punishing the director or the company.

I mean I figured this article was at least allowing for a game to still get other awards, but given that crunch is a failure of management, it should preclude it from winning “best direction.”

But I would have to think it’s considerably easier for a voice actor. It’s not like a writer or an actor who resembles a character.
