Sure. She COULD have done that. But ballers gonna ball.

Note to self: shred, then BURN.

There doesn’t *need* to be two-party consent to disclose the content of an email - emails aren’t secretly recorded conversations.

So what happens if I post a screenshot of a text or an email (which I’ve done with no issue)? I feel like the posts would need to be reported several times first.
To me, it’s just further proof Lemon and those he works with are bullies.

I don’t live in Lake County but I work there, and the outrage and support for this officer’s “execution” was intense and super-racist. My old hs English teacher and a few others changed their fb pictures to “Blue Lives Matter” and talked about the “war on police”.

Really? What freaking cause do they have to lock his accounts for appropriately blurred photographs of email exchanges? I saw the screenshots this morning, and was excited. Lemon’s a toolbag, and I enjoy people being able to tell him that, especially when they’re as nice as Shawn (because I *know* I would not react as

As if we needed another reminder that Don Lemon is awful.

It’s amazing how often people proclaim that rapists are the “real” victims of the rapes they commit. Owen Labrie’s parents made essentially the same argument—the possibility of facing consequences for raping someone was so traumatizing for the poor lad that he shouldn’t actually have to face any consequences.

No joke. I’m a family law attorney, and the number of domestic violence victims I’ve represented where the husband is in the military is astounding. And they are ALWAYS the ones who show up in uniform.

Jesus - from the linked article, one of the many pleas for leniency that the judge got from friends/family:

I worked as a scene processing technician for a small town in Georgia for 7 years. We had a church deacon (and children’s minister!) up on charges for raping and pimping out his two children (the oldest was under 10). We had video — god, hours of video — that he took of his “playdates” with them, but the entire

“A trustee at Paden’s church sent in a letter saying that “only God, Darren, and the victim know what happened.””

only God, Darren, and the victim know what happened.

What rape culture? I’m just not seeing it... *Burns all the things*

Support for person’s alleged to have committed sexual assault is often weirdly strong. I’m a criminal defense attorney and I’m always surprised when family members band around the dad who rapes his kids, etc. Actually, I almost never get calls from family members in any other kind of crime but I almost always get

What some people never seem to understand is that being a charismatic, trustworthy, upstanding member of society is precisely the thing that allows guys like this to get away with what they do, because no one believes they could be capable of such horrors and they ignore all the signs of what’s going on.

So he “helped out in hospitals” abroad? Hospitals with children in them, by any chance? He was also a junior deacon at his local church. With a propensity for “youth counseling” perhaps?
