Harsh realm.
Even though the only other good thing about that episode is Steve Martin, I've always loved Bono's delivery of "What the bloody hell…"
Fargo on the moon. How'd it get there?

See the weird thing is I had no problem with that part or the Anna part, but Ray's introductory scene had me baffled for fucking ages. Maybe I just buy into detective clichés too easily; my first thought when the game said there was nowhere to hide in the alley was "Just sit on the bench with a newspaper covering your…
Yeah, my praise for the writing was based only on the setup in the first couple of hours, it could very well fall apart completely in the execution.
Yeah, the bad ESL dialogue was the main critical point that I was concerned about, considering dialogue is a pretty integral part of adventure games. Oh well, hopefully Deponia isn't the "German style" GhaleonQ was referring to.
Well, I'm not sure about a comparison but the only feedback I ever got from people I recommended it to was "I played it for ten minutes and I wanted to throw up."
Antichamber's apparent ability to create motion sickness has confounded several of my attempts to get others to play it. Such a shame, because that first rush of euphoric spatial confusion, before I understood what was happening and how I was moving between illusions (and it subsequently settled down into being a…
What do you mean by janky, the difficulty? It could just be me I suppose (I did kinda abuse the hint system in Monkey Island 2). And by German style, do you mean something like Deponia, or earlier stuff? I've been reluctant to buy Deponia because of some bad reviews, but I could probably be convinced.
Yes, played Primordia, own the Blackwell series (and just finished The Shivah the other day). Actually I own almost all of the Wadjet Eye back catalogue. It probably helps that they're all on Steam and frequently on sale.
Just started Resonance, a Wadjet Eye adventure game. I'm already really impressed with the writing (the way the four characters are introduced is exceedingly cool), but the difficulty is pretty wildly variable; I'll breeze through a couple of sections no problem, and then I'll hit a puzzle that will take me literally…
Vegans can eat bacon?
I just spent way too long reading the comments on that video.
Amy Schumer?
Well this is embarrassing.
I hope so! I'm struggling through season 1 and it's been pretty terrible so far.
My first thought is always "I hope they don't have anything electronic in their pockets," even if the movie is set before that would be an issue.
There's a scene in Mad Men where a character does that and Don comments on how weird it is, but everyone does it on that show, including Don himself several times.
