Judging by the reactions I'm the only one who thinks the sequel is as good, if not better, than the original. One of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen, especially the opening credits and the final, mind-blowing action sequence.

Sky Crawlers is less-watched for a reason, but Patlabor 2 is a cult classic (though was kinda disappointing on a recent rewatch). I've found Oshii to be pretty weak outside of GitS.
