Yes. At least until the end of season 2. Most people give up halfway through season 1, and I don't blame them, but they're really missing out.

Halfway though season 1 the show has hardly even started. The characters can be difficult to get used to but, and I say this to people all the time, I would be surprised if you liked the show even after watching all of season 1. It's a very, very slow burn, but once it gets you it gets
you hard.

I was just thinking of 13 Tzameti because its luck-based premise frustrated me. That movie had trouble getting past the fact that you knew the protagonist wasn't going to die, so there really was no tension at all.
